A new article talks about how fashion brands are increasingly using KLPGA golfers as their main models. In the past, even for golf brands, the KLPGAers tended to take a back seat to professional models or actors. For instance, So Hyeon Ahn is now the main focus of a new Castelbajac campaign:  Hyun Ju Yoo continues her success. She has been a main TaylorMade model this past year, and her profile has been higher lately because she is featured in a well-liked SBS golf adjacent program that also features popular entertainers.  Da Been Heo models for Hazzy via LF. According to the article, they have additional plans for the bedimpled starlet: "Professional golfers such as Da Been Heo will appear alongside famous celebrities such as actors and models to play survival games related to golf." What the heck has she gotten herself into?? Sounds like Golf's version of Squid Games!  It's not just golfwear ads, of course. Hyun Kyung Park is one of the KLPGAers appearing in other types of commercials that, again, were once mainly the province of actors. Here she advertises "Sleep and Slip", a specialized pillow:  The golfwear industry is booming in Korea, especially among the young. Shinsegae Department Store reports that a new French golfwear line, Arpesse, had the highest sales ever for a new brand on its first day. Hyundai Department Store says the demand has grown nearly 80% in the past year. |

Hong Kong Park promotes and explains 픽N골프 (Pick N Golf), a KLPGA fantasy golf game that starts this week. The tour started it last year, but now it has been picked up by the Naver website.
