The KLPGA website has an entry for it, but NO field and NO television times ... it's only four days away ... they must have interns working there, too.
Per other sources, you can see the dates and TV times below. In real money, the total purse is about $144K USD for ten players. Eight players got in by points and the other two are Hazzys staffers. The golf course is in the SW of the country, about 100 miles west of Busan.
This blog posting has the field and lists the past winners:
Before the last Tournament Hee Jeong Lim was leading the LF Hazzys Point Total. I thought that Ha Na Jang was second, but I don't see her up there. The point Total must have changed in the last Tournament, because Hyun Kyung Park was third.
According to Daum and my Korean skills, these are the players. Remember that the top LF Hazzy point scorers get an advantage when starting the event, so here is how the leaderboard will look at the start of play:
1 Hee Jeong Lim -3 2 Hyun Kyung Park, So Mi Lee -2 4 Ji Yeong Kim, Na Rin An, Hae Ran Ryu -1 7 Ga Young Lee, Da Been Heo, Woo Jung Kim, Su Ji Kim Even
Winner gets 50 million won, down to 10 million for 10th. Unofficial money, of course; the season is over.
I'm glad I got up an hour ago for this ... even happier that I didn't go back to bed, because Lim just slam dunked her third shot at the par-5 17th for an eagle ... the broadcaster guy said "slam dunk" in English at least three times ... a rules official just finished fixing the edge of the cup. Btw, it says Hee Jeong L., So Mi L. and Haeran R. in big letters on the back of the caddie bibs ... no doubt, appreciated by the fifteen English-speaking people currently watching this via rogue video.
Hee Jeong has taken over, thanks to her pre-event lead and a great first round. Will she be the Queen of Queens?
