After being dropped for 2020, it is back this year at Abu Dhabi GC, November 10-13 with a field of 78 players doing 72-hole stroke play. GC will carry it each day at 1 AM EST. From the RANDA website:
The winner earns invitations to play in two major championships – The AIG Women’s Open, The Amundi Evian Championship, Hana Financial Group Championship as well as an exemption for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
I know very few of these names ... I saw one of them at the USWA in August, Rianne Mikhaela Malixi (PHI). One of the oldest players there has to be Angelina Yei of Shanghai/IMG Academy/Stanford. She should be one of the favorites, but the Cardinal junior is goofing off with a 74.11 average this season after doing 71.33 during her first two seasons.
Winning is no guarantee of future pro success. The 2019 winner, Yuka Yasuda, crushed everyone, but she has been left in the dust by her victims since then, including Thitikul, Saso, Furue, Nishimura and Yoshida.

Shin Shil Bang and Hou Min Hwang recently did decently at KLPGA events. I recall them both being close to the lead after two rounds before fading on the weekend. I guess we should keep an eye on them this week... (Bang is ranked 16 in WAGR, Hwang 4th).

KT has recently been living it up in Cabo with her fiance, but she posted on FB her "proud auntie" support for this group of next-generation gals.

I watched a little of the coverage; they seemed hellbent on showing every shot by this Fortuna woman, who was having a middling round. I didn't see any Hou Min in the window I watched, although they did show Jeonghyun Lee, who is apparently 14; just two years older than my daughter (!).
Sisters:
5 Jeonghyun Lee, Hou Min Hwang -6 9 Min Sun Kim -5 20 Shin Shil Bang, Ji Hyun Lee -2 44 Hye Sung Kim +2

I had no time to check on this earlier this AM ... it turns out they had a train wreck as the Thai kid finally gagged. A good 10-minute highlight video shows what happened:
1 Mizuki Hashimoto JPN -16
2 Natthakritta Vongtaveelap THA -15 2 Kan Bunnabodee THA -15
2 Kelsey Bennett OZ -15 5 Nanako Inagaki JPN -13
6 Ashley Lau MAL -12 7 Minsun Kim ROK -11 7 Youmin Hwang ROK -11
9 Anika Varma IND -10
10 Cassie Porter OZ -8
She played wearing a cap that said TFU ... a logo on her sleeve explained it: Tohoku Fukushi University Sendai Japan
Youmin Hwang
Ayaka Tezuka (-5) aced #4 with 8-iron (133 yards)
