Let us hope that Haneul's retirement from tournament play actually results in more Haneul in our lives. As someone who never watches JLPGA, I barely ever got to see her in her natural habitat. I can't see her riding off into the sunset just yet. She is too popular and marketable. I was impressed by all the fanfare around her retirement announcement.

I've all but given up trying to watch the JLPGA , you have to go through to many hoops to watch it. It's as if they don't care if anyone outside of their circle watch it anyway. I try to catch some of the YouTube showing because I like some of the golfers.

I hope some of this close exposure rubs off on her game.

Ha Na Jang is the cover story in this month's Golf Digest Korea. It's interesting that a fair amount of the interview deals with her struggles against 'anti-fans'. They also bring up her reasons for returning to Korea; she basically reiterates that she liked being near her family. Her mom was also not feeling well, but Jang decided to go to the States anyways. But not long after that, she decided she needed to return to Korea and did. She says she currently plans to retire when she's 34. 'Even if I win three times that season, I'll still end my career that year'.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CWQZYm0PIoQ Min Ji Park says she was thankful for her great season. Also it was disappointing to miss the cut and that she tried her best. She thanked all the people that ran the Tournament and Camera people.
