Hee Jeong Lim climbing and thinking about life's past, present and future.
" It's hard to get to the beginning , but when you look ahead and go silently, you get used to it. Then sometimes when I look around me when it's too hard . I see things that I've missed and passed and then it seems like my first time again begins. Life is a continuation of a new beginning and continuation of learning. The similarity of climbing feels like a great healing for me."
In the interview, she mentions that she is not specifically planning to go to the LPGA right now, but if she keeps winning on the KLPGA she'll know when the time is right. And of course she will take a card if she wins one.
She also talks a lot about fennec foxes (this is her nickname on tour); she even considered adopting one, but with her career, she decided it would be better to let it stay in a zoo (fennecs make good pets apparently). Fennecs live in desert-like climes, hence the cacti in the pix.
She's also surprisingly honest about relationships. She says that a lot of golfers focus on golf, and don't really think about relationships until much later. She says that she will probably start dating when she's in her mid-twenties (!!).
She won't be entirely gone -- the last post above announces a new Youtube channel that she will run. So we can still find out how she navigates retirement and whatever else she'll still be up to. So far it's just in Korean and Japanese, though...
