Sorry to see Karen Chung strike out, but shooting Even over four days was respectable ... but, she's gotta find that little extra something ... new gear? A new coach? I don't know ... she showed me more physical tools compared to Muni in 2018, but is stuck in neutral.

Hyo Joon Jang keeps rolling along ... whoever she is ... my skimpy research from the Stage One q-school thread:
I never heard of Hyo Joon Jang before ... playing as an amateur, opened 68-69. I looked her up and found numerous pics of her holding trophies. She's from the ROK, but attends a golf boarding school in South Carolina ... I'm not sure if this is a real academic school. Her high school class is 2022 ... currently #134 on WAGR ... finished 57th in Symetra event in late May. I have not come across any hints that college is in her future.

The ex-Gamecock P. R-B was one of the hotshot amateurs I wanted to see at the USWA in August, but she skipped it ... I really missed out.

Allie White advanced ... a husky high school kid I saw at the 2009 USWO still chasing the dream.

Can you believe a third player from Snowball Land will join Lee and Szeryk to the Q-Series?
Dumbo's good buddy from Dr. Won Park's robot factory, Babe Liu, bombed out. So did ex-Trojan cutie Gaby Then.

The cut was -3 and 47 players will advance to the Q-series (minus the underage players)

The biggest disappointment was Gabriella Ruffels plus one, minus two. The Majors, she T15 & 19 ANA, Women PGA T33, US Women Open T13, Women British Open T13. She also won the 2019 US Women Amateur and came in second place in 2020. I thought that this would be a slam dunk for her. Some of my favorites made it. Alyaa Abdulghany, Allisen Corpuz, (The real Canadian Princess) Maddie Szeryk Virginia Elena Carter almost blew it with a +2 final round. Britney Yada ( The Cactus Tour Queen) -5 final round missed by one shot.

If she didn't make it through phase three I would have been surprised, not making past phase 2 is shocking.
