There wasn't any mention that the Korean Golfers are Talented. You can get out of the bed at the age of three with a golf club and go practice. Every day all day, but if you don't have any talent it's a waste of time. I would think a lot of the Korean golfers would identify with Mi Hyun Kim. Because most of the Golfers back then were bigger than they are now. However Mi Hyun showed them that you don't have to be big in statue to succeed. Just strive to be the best at what you do, which describe Mi Hyun Kim. However Mi Hyun never get mentioned as an influence.

It’s always a numbers game. Tiny towns can have a great hockey team for the same reason. They make sure you don’t have talent before they let you stop practicing.

I'm surprised the USGA didn't call the article The Birth of a Nation. That would be more fitting for this organization's illustrious history.
