Shoot! When I went to bed last night, In Gee was at 6 under, but when she finished round 2, she made bogey on three of her first four holes! She ended up shooting a 70 and finishing at 4 under. She'll be paired with the Kordas today, one of the few times she'll be the shortest in her group... Other news: Jin Young's 68 was her 12th straight round in the 60s, 2nd best in LPGA history. Six shot a 68 and ended at 4 under. +1 was the cut, so Na Yeon and Inbee made it (Inbee Even, NYC +1). Sisters hwaiting!!

Pressel has upped her game today from a double strand of pearls to a triple strand. I fully expect her to add a monocle to her ensemble tomorrow for the full Margaret Dumont look.

I’ll say the Golf Industrial Complex has a type they think their median grumpy old man viewers want to watch call the LPGA. In a word, pearls.

Jin Young only minus two but she increased her lead by two strokes. Jin Young also missed some makeable birdies.
So Yeon bounced back from three over par front nine with a three under back nine. She is still in the mix,

Round 3 Jin Young continues to soar; another strong round, and her lead is now four. Keep up the hwait, Jin Young! It would be an amazing result for her to close out the win Sunday, and tie Sorenstam's 60s-in-a-row record in the process, by shooting a great round in front of the Founders. Go Jin Young Go! Nice move by Six to get close to the top ten. So Yeon did not have her A-stuff, but she's still got a chance if she has a great day tomorrow; and if not, hopefully a juicy runner up. She showed true heart coming back from three over with three birdies on the back nine. Biggest bummer was the complete meltdown by In Gee. Don't know where that came from, but I predict she'll have a nice bounce back round to finish. Sisters hwaiting!!!

They let out the birdies today trying to help Maria Fassi over the finish line. They were laying it on thick yesterday. "a player who will bring great interest to the LPGA". When? We're waiting.

Great wire to wire win for Jin Young Ko. She made sure someone didn't come from nowhere this time and steal the win. Not to mention to be called a "loser".
So Yeon had an even par weekend, but a tie for sixth place is really good. She only missed one fairway and two greens, but had thirty three putts. Great Tournament by Jeongeun Lee6 with a tie for fourth place. She had two early bogeys, after that five birdies no bogeys.
A Lim Kim had maybe her best Tournament of the year a sixth place tie. Really god back nine five birdies one bogey, after one birdie one bogey front nine.
Kudos: In Gee Chun bounced back from the bad third round, with seven birdies two bogeys.

Round 4 Fantastic round by Jin Young Ko to close out her 10th career LPGA win!! They made the course more birdieable in this last round, but unlike last week, Jin Young was ready. Her putting matched the rest of her game, and for all Masson's efforts, even she was never able to seriously challenge for the title. This was the day of '13'. Ko started the day at 13 under; there were 13 original founders, as the signs all over the course attested. She had 13 straight rounds in the 60s before today. And she had 13 HOF points as well. In Gee and Lee6 were two of the gals who took advantage of the conditions. In Gee shot a 66 to move to 25th; Six had a 67 and finished t-4th. A Lim Kim also achieved a rare top ten with her own 67 for a t-6th result. But the star of the show was Jin Young Ko. Congrats to her again on her wire-to-wire win!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CU3JzU6Llqe https://www.instagram.com/p/CU2-kCplaAG

By the way, although they didn't usually say it, the 14-60s-in-a-row record is now co-held by THREE golfers: Jin Young, Annika and So Yeon Ryu. So Yeon achieved it between the 2016 and 2017 seasons, not all in one season like the other two.
In other news, The new rankings are out, and though Nelly is still number one, Jin Young has made a ton of ground up:
1. Nelly Korda 9.39 2. Jin Young Ko 9.10 3. Inbee Park 6.80 4. Sei Young Kim 6.33
Min Ji Park +3 to 14 Lee6 +2 to 17 So Yeon +1 to 20 In Gee +1 to 44 Su Ji Kim +27 to 100 (she was 311 in April)
