Now for some real Orange & Black on October 31 ...
A big shout-out to the Princeton Tigers ... aka Team Asia. They completed its fall schedule and finished in 3rd, 2nd, 2nd and 1st places. Okay, they were not playing the Zhangsters of the world, but that's still pretty good! I missed seeing them at home at Springdale GC, but I can make up for it next April as The Ivy League Championship will be at The Ridge at Back Brook (Ringoes, NJ). Two Van City imports, Liu and Kong, have been their best players so far.
Left to right: Victoria Liu, Kyung Eun Lee, Caris Kim, Sophie Siminoff, Grace Ni, Tiffany Kong, Julia Kashimura, Karen Kim, Emma Zhao, head coach Erika DeSanty.

I stumbled upon this the other day. This is from SBS Golf's Swing Girls, a TV show entirely dedicated to the Rookie Class of '19 that was filmed in early 2020. Belle Supreme Hyun Kyung Park skipped it, but all the other notables are here: Ayean Cho, Hee Jeong Lim, So Mi Lee, Ga Young Lee and Seung Yeon Lee. It's interesting to look back as these ladies become bigger and bigger stars and see how they were as callow teens. In this episode, they have a meal while talking about memorable moments in their rookie years. Lim and Cho recall big wins in playoffs (Ayean beat Hye Jin Choi!); Ga Young Lee, who has yet to win, recalls an ace. It's all in Korean, but even if you don't understand a word, it's fun to watch them interact in a casual environment. Thanks, one of my favorite Rookie Classes
