It appears that Thad Kael is no longer looping for Kelly Tan ... I'm guessing he dumped her for greener pastures (Albane Valenzuela). KT has Dustin Lattery this week, who I never heard of before. I think that's her fiance, who she calls "Dusty" on IG. I don't think he'll be following Kael's lead and "dumping her for greener pastures" anytime soon. It's Malaysian Invasion week on the LPGA, with wannabe EMP Alyaa Abdulghany joining KT on tour. A third Malaysian -- YouTube diva Geneviève Ling -- came in 6th in the qualifier. She's sticking around to cheer on her compatriots. She may not have to stick around past Friday. pargolf.my/malaysias-alyaa-abdulghany-set-for-lpga-debut-in-this-weeks-cambia-portland-classic-kelly-tan-back-in-action-for-first-time-since-olympics/***********

Great round for Jin Young Ko, six birdies one bogey. She hit a lot of quality shots.
Great clean round five birdies no bogeys for Jeongeun Lee65.
Jeongeun Lee6 only minus two, because of short approach shots four of five finishing holes. Her short game helped her avoid more than one bogey. Unless she was also short on the bogey that they didn't show. She was hitting good shots, but just picked the wrong club. She also has a habit of hitting her right to left putts too high and too hard.

First decent leaderboard in 2021. SHP is still the best dressed on Tour.

Today on Instagram, many of the Attack Girls posted Terminator's tee shot on #12. That's what Woods' iron shots sounded like in 2000. Keep trying to improve.

It was far outside the broadcast window, but Alana Uriell finished up with birdies on 14 thru 18. She's the 2nd alternate for Shoprite and has a decent chance at getting in without qualifying.

Bianca has moved up from 5th to 3rd on the Shoprite alternate list.
138th in Putts per GIR this year ... I guess that's why she is surprised.

What is wrong with Mi Hyang Lee, is she working on a swing change. I thought I saw somewhere that she is been working with McCormick. Good luck with that if it is true. So Yeon Ryu swing change worked great for three quarters of twenty seventeen. That got her one year of Glory, but since then her golf has gotten worse and worse. So note to golfers with established swings, don't chase more distance. Just get stronger, however not sure if Mi Hwang is working on a change.

I believe they will let the birdies out today, try to blow up the leaderboard and give some white girls a chance to catch up.

Who is Mi Hwang Lee?! Yeah, maybe she should change her name during The Last Round-up. Her work with McCormick is old news (since the start of 2018, I think) ... actually, she is working with his growing empire, Altus Performance ... I doubt she works with The Man himself. It hasn't been completely fruitless, remember her 2nd place at ANA? She appears committed to Altus since her U.S. base moved to Texas (my advice: rent, don't buy). Her looper situation is problematic ... is Mardi Lunn still around? Through a haze of cigarette smoke, she might provide a few pearls of wisdom on and off the golf course ... the old Zen-master's words during a past pro-am still apply:
"When you're struggling, it is no fun out here."
I have no idea what's going on ... she's not on TV and I haven't seen her play in person since the 2018 Shoprite. I queried her name at naver.com and came up with nothing new. The field for BMW/Korea is not posted yet ... is she eligible? Maybe the sports washers can throw her a bone for Long Island next month. I'll try to get a few answers in a couple of weeks.

MHL needs to get the hell out of Dallas. Either commit to the car wash or commit to George Gankas.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CUBOy71PLam Congratulation to Jin Young Ko. There wasn't a lot of competition, but a win is a win. Sometimes it's harder to win when you are an over whelming favorite. So she did what she needed to do. Jeongeun Lee6 had two early birdies to get to minus six. But a triple bogey on eight and double bogey on thirteen dropped her to minus one. She made birdie on the two back nine par fives to finish tied for eighth place. Eun-Hee Ji fought her way back from a first round 78, with a final round 67 to finish even par. Great Tournament for Jeongeun Lee5 to tie for second place. Kudos: Mi Jung Hur and Sung Hyun Park tie for fifteen, their best finish in quite a while

JYK won a lot more money but Hyo Joo's best friend is Hyunju Yoo. That's a push.
