tonyj500Tony, do you have any ideas when the second reshuffle of LPGA priority list will take place? I thought it'd happen after AIG Women's Open, but there hasn't been any revised list as yet.

Saw your post and was trying to find out myself. Glad it is resolved.

This has been a strange year - strange two years - with COVID, travel restrictions, tour bubbles, etc., and I think all of this might be affecting the Koreans more than most. Many of them regularly travel with parents, who have not been allowed at most tournaments (I think), so a part of their usual support system has been cut off. I guess I can understand why Jin Young might want to take a break after the Olympics (still don't think golf should be in, unless they go to match play team format) and a not so great performance at Evian. Especially thinking about hanging around in Europe for a month before the British, either playing or not in the tournaments up north. And if that injury is lingering - all the more reason to shut it down for a while.
I think maybe travel scheduling has been harder than we imagine this year for all the players, especially across different continents.
On the course setups - can sort of see both sides. But that "rough" at AIG was absurd - didn't seem to be a problem at all. Maybe I'm just not a great fan of links courses...

The rough, yardage and green speed of a golf course don't matter. The next Korean to win a major will be better than the other players. Maybe the ROK just needs more mats, nets and golfers willing to spend the night in a cemetery.
