Thinking about Chella Choi's one win on the LPGA, getting it is hard. You can play great but sometimes things still has to fall your way.
Gerina Pillar has been on the LPGA Tour ten years, with zero wins. She has been on the U.S Olympic Team and I think the Solheim Cup.

Been watching this broadcast for about an hour ... I must agree with the complainers on GolfWrx ... Kupcho, Talley and Meaw are all around a flag for birdie putts at #13 ... Talley and Meaw make the putts, then Kupcho gets over the ball ... and then they cut over to the men ... next time I see Kupcho, she is teeing off on #14.
Inci called Meaw's birdie putt from the collar at #13 before it went in ... nice call, even though you can cut her accent with a chainsaw. She's the 25th alternate for Aramco Team Series - New York, but I have a hunch that she'll get one of the eleven invitee spots.
*******
Two tour regulars finished in the storm cellar last Sunday at Evian ... one of them took an unpaid vacation this week ... the other is gunning for a six-figure paycheck ... I just luv the LPGA.

Talley and Meaw start the playoff with two banana ball drives, but still make par ... back to the 18th tee where they hit two MORE banana ball drives ... second shots end up in the rough. What an exhibition ... I saw Kupcho do one club slam and later gagged in regulation at #18 ... I hope someone takes away her belt and shoelaces tonight.
Congrats to Meaw for closing it out. I distinctly recall her at Raven's Claw in 2018 ... daddy (?) was on the bag, but when she reached a green, he would push her bag to the next tee and stay there ... she had to do all her thinking on the greens. Her English is pretty good ... if I recall correctly, she went to some kind of U.S. diplomatic high school in Thailand.
Syd on Saturday, talk about restoring your career in one swoop. Is she still Mrs. Muncrief? She used the Muncrief name a few years ago.

I didn't watch the Tournament, because I got tired of fast forwarding past the men. The last time I saw the Leaderboard Jennifer Kupcho was up by one on hole on fourteen. I figured the Tournament was hers because she would surely make birdie on eighteen. Really surprised me that not only did she not birdie it, but made bogey. I thought at one time that she would be one of the top U.S.A golfers. Still early in her Career, so she can be one.
Chella Choi could only manage an even par round, still a top five tie is pretty good.

I pretty much focused on Olympics this weekend (in fact, I actually forgot this was going on!); still haven't looked at the leaderboard. Nice job by Chella in snagging a top five.
