Feels a lot like the invention of the ANWA--a largely meaningless act of charity meant to justify decades (past and future) of callous, patronizing disregard. Speaking as a faithful fan of this pitiful little sport, my wish is for all these people to shove this video game cartridge up their ass.

Well, Gee... Didn't expect that reaction!
The LPGA needs to get their names out there. I think the video game is a wonderful idea, and I think it's really cool that Jin Young was even invited to EA to do motion cap to get her swing just right. If EA didn't care, they could have just gotten any old female range pro to model that for them. Or they could have thrown Paige Spiriwhozit into the game instead of an actual star (and a non-American to boot).
And though EA is far from faultless (believe me: I used to work for them), they don't suffer from the long legacy of crap behavior towards women that Augusta National does.
So, it might mean nothing. But maybe every once in a while some of the millions who play that game might get curious about the real female golfers, or see Jin Young when flipping channels and want to see the woman they like playing as in the game in actual action. I see it as nothing but a positive.
