I have not been able to find any pictures of Hans and Franz this week ... maybe they got pushed aside or pushed out by the new Amundi sponsorship? Has anyone spotted them during the broadcasts? I haven't watched any of it since early Thursday AM, but I'll get up early for the 5:30 AM broadcast segment ... by then, MHL and Jenny from The ROK might still be playing. Earlier in this thread, HappyFan posted the transcript of Hans & Franz's press conference, and they kept coming back to how they would handle the kiss. The tournament PR flak was probably horrified and put an immediate embargo on the video. Not a clip of it has been seen. My advice to 6 is to triple mask, watch for the hands and keep the pepper spray within reach.

Good thing they fly in with the flag of the winner so the GIC would know Noh is an American. Nelly could be moving over by days end.

Imagine being such a golf media clown that you’re tweeting about Bryson instead of the Evian today.

Jeongeun Lee6 fought her way back and it ended with a shot short in the water. I really thought that she would have an Eagle chance also. Still a great Tournament and a lot of heart to come back on the back nine. Too bad it ended with one swing.

Easy with the Veuve Clicquot, Minjee! You need to stay alert for the horndogs' photo shoot.

My heart broke for Six but so freaking happy for Minjee 🥳 It was also fun to see Hyo Joo, In Gee and Lydia supporting her. Most emotional exciting major so far! MINJEE!!! 🏆

Round 4 Man, this day was an epic novel. As I feared, they made the course super-birdieable, which brought a lot more players into the picture. We saw a second 61, and there was even a quote from the tournament organizers to the effect that they were setting up the final four holes hoping to see someone go 5 under on that stretch. How is that a Major mentality? Still, this was always Six's event to lose; if she played decently, she would have had little problem. She made a great birdie on the first, but then the slop started to kick in. Three straight bogies, most of which were just tiny mental mistakes. I honestly thought that if Six were going to stink it up, it would be her long game's fault, but she hit pretty well tee-to-green. Instead, it was her short game. The nadir was the 9th, where she reached close to the green in two, chunked a chip, hit her birdie putt well short, blew the par save past, and somehow made a bogey. But just when it looked like she was toast, she fought back. A birdie on 12, up and down on 15. By then, Minjee had moved into the picture. Noh seemed poised to win, but started missing short birdies. Six hit a fantastic tee shot on 16, made birdie, then rescued her 17th with a phenomenal shot over the trees to five feet for another birdie. She reached 18 in two (while Noh stupidly laid up and didn't make the final birdie she needed), and had an eagle for the win. Lydia stole the eagle, though, and 6 had to settle for birdie. Playoff! On the playoff hole, Lee6 outdrove Minjee, but I think this might have been to her detriment. Minjee hit first, getting to ten feet. Six has had no problem with this hole all week, but her swing here was not good, and she splashed down, handing the trophy to Lee (as it turned out, the Aussie missed the eagle, so Six just need to make sure she was on the green for a birdie chance). From hero to goat to hero to goat in four hours. Screw that. Six may have blown her chance in the end, but she refused to give up all day despite her struggles. She could have easily packed it in, but she didn't, and she nearly pulled it off. That makes her a hero in my book, and I hope she doesn't beat herself up too much. I like Minjee and am glad she finally got a Major, but I don't like that her win came by having the biggest comeback to win a Major at the expense of one of my faves. That's always going to leave a sour taste in my mouth. In other news, nice to see In Gee produce her best round of the week, although they refused to show her for much of the day to my annoyance. Four strong rounds, a t-6th; loving her consistency. Amy Yang also sneaked in a top ten thanks to a Sunday 66, while Inbee was 12th. Hyo Joo had a weak day, but still got a top twenty in her final Olympic tuneup. Jin Young had a 69, but finished 60th in her title defense. Congrats to Minjee Lee, and great week by Six, Noh and Chun! Sisters hwaiting!!!

Also, right after Lee6 hit her ball into the water and handed the tournament to Minjee, they showed Minjee walking down the fairway grinning broadly. Now, I don't blame her for being happy at that moment, and maybe it's just my disappointment tainting my view, but it struck me as a little classless of her. She should have reined it in to respect her opponent.
I hope Lee6 realizes what a great week this was for her. I recall a few years ago she had a big lead at the Salonpas Cup on the JLPGA, and blew the final round to hand the title to Jiyai. Lee took it hard; she went off Instagram for a while, and when she came back she posted a long, sad comment about expectations and living up to them. I worry that she's a bit prone to depression like In Gee and sometimes is too much of a perfectionist.

Whoa, don't think I've ever seen a magnum of champagne broken out for an LPGA win. Wasn't rooting for Minjee but I have always carried a torch for her.
Speaking of taking it hard, it appears to me that young Yeah-limi tends to take the hits pretty hard. Underneath that perfect doll image is a real hothead. Pretty sure I saw her let out an F-word after missing putt on 16.
Jeongeun still seems more comfortable as a chaser than a leader. I was rooting for her to pull off the In Gee Double Slam. Still think she has number one potential.

Jin Young started to get down on herself when she was missing putts the first year. But now there is no worry because she has gotten over it. Now So Yeon Ryu had another ho-hum round. Three bogeys on the front, but hung in there with three birdies on the back nine. So Yeon did a swing change for more distance 2017, to reach par fives in two. She should have waited, because the LPGA has turned par fives, into long par fours. She is hitting drives longer, but at the cost of accuracy. Her only problem, for not winning more before that change was missing crucial putts. There is something really wrong when a Leona Maguire shoots 61, the Final Round of a Major.

There is something really wrong when a Leona Maguire shoots 61, the Final Round of a Major. This. As thrilled as I was that Lee6 shot a 61, and I'll admit that even on an easy course that's an achievement, look at it this way: In all the history of women's Major golf, there's only been 1 61. This week there were two. In one event. That is not a good look. And it's not like it was Ariya or someone of that stature who did it (although Ariya also went really low this week). It cheapens the whole notions of records when they set the courses up so a good putting day turns into an all time record.

Six has been having quite a few months. She played well at the Team event and VOA. And she also, remember, was right in the hunt at the US Women's Open but, like here, had a terrible start to her final round and, unlike here, never recovered. Had she played close to par she might have been in a playoff there as well.

I saw a Callaway driver ad online this morning which prominently featured Six. Never saw her in an English language ad before. So they don't seem too upset with Six's loss...
