Round 3 Inbee/ So Yeon and In Gee/ Brooke stalled today alas, but Six and MJ and A Lim and Yealimi continued to shine! 6 and MJ couldn't buy a birdie towards the end, but they still are just 2 shots out of the lead and well placed for a run at the title. They, or anyone, will probably have to go low, but they are capable of it. A Lim and Yealimi seem to be ignored for some weird reason, but they are also just two back. Good luck to the teams Saturday! Sisters hwaiting!!

They called her Ah Lim several times in that clip! I was thinking, at last! But at the end I heard 'Ay Lim' again. Oh well, at least they got it right a few times before that.

Great shot around the tree by MJ Hur on 15 to avoid a big number. I hope this tournament elevates her play going forward. She has been in the doldrums during the pandemic.

Rocket and Jenn Song have been having a solid week. You just knew this would be an event an extrovert like Hee Young would love! https://www.instagram.com/p/CRaMg4-h0vH PS - this reversed pic makes it look like Hee Young's sponsor is Uzi!

The Jutanugarn sisters had two rounds of eleven under par. They rode those two best ball rounds to victory, Congratulation to them.
Great Tournament for A Lim Kim-Yealimi Noh to tie for third place.
Kudos: Amy Yang-Haeji Kang low round of the "sisters" minus eight, tie for sixth place.
Nice birdie for Jeongeun Lee6 and Mi Jung Hur on eighteen to also tie for sixth place. Probably wasn't the round that they hoped for but still a great Tournament.
Actually a good showing for the Korean Golfers, all inside the top twenty.
To be earnest I think So Yeon and Inbee was using this Tournament more as a tune-up for next week.

Speaking of Instagram, I want to unfollow @thejanepark & I don't want to read her super painful blog anymore. Apparently she doesn't know that "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Jane Park is literally watching her daughter fight for her life, you're threat of an unfollow surely means nothing (nor would it anyway). Nice to show your true colors in response to someone who is undergoing the most painful thing a mother can go through. What a shocking post, and a gross misuse of that common saying. I guess you are a new member here.

Round 4
This was always going to be an event where someone was going to go low to win it, so I'm not surprised by the result. But the problem in particular with team events (especially on birdie fest courses) is that no team who is putting well is going to give shots away, so the second the broadcast started it was clear who was going to win.
Especially a bummer, since early in the day it was fairly close and looked like several Korean teams might be in the mix.
So I just skipped around to the few times they showed a team I liked. Nice to see In Gee for a few seconds, even if it was just so they could give Henderson some screen time. I really liked the interview with A Lim and Yealimi yesterday, but for unfathomable reasons, they didn't get much time on TV today (why show so much of Clanton and the unknown Thais when you could be giving a great up and coming American and last year's US Women's Open champ exposure? Only on the LPGA...).
Six was full of fire, wasn't she? Loved her reactions when she made some of her shots. I really loved it when she dunked that birdie from the fringe on the one hole to move to a tie for second. She actually went 'YEAH!' after making the final birdie. Great to see!
Hopefully this result will inspire Six next week. We need to see some of the Korean stars step up in a Major! Hwaiting!

It's not without benefits; I'm finally eloquent with those long Thai names. More likely, the producer didn't spend time to know the players and thought that Kim & Noh is a second tier Korean team.

I hear you LOL. But how is Anannarukarn not second tier? They have been trying to make Ashok a star since forever, but she's not there yet. Suwannapura is a little more legit, and she was the defending champ, but if you are going to feature an American and you have Yealimi right there, why not show her instead of Clanton? I guarantee if that had been the Kordas in their exact position, they would have found time to show them . I really wonder what those production meetings are like at Golf Channel...

It may surprise you, but most Americans don't know Yealimi Noh is a born American. The announcers like Grant Boone, Judy Rankin and Paige MacKenzie; they all know Yealimi as a rising young American hopeful. But, they don't control what's on TV. The producers, on the other hand, may or may not be current with the state of players at all.
