Robynn Ree is six-for-six in trunk slams for 2021, but her mind might have been elsewhere .... she became a Southern Cal grad last month. She hasn't played since Hugel ... can't she get into Texas VOA, they are begging for players.

Karen Chung is playing better of late. She is a better Golfer than most of the Symetra Tour players. She needs to stay focused and finish in the Top Ten.
Amen to that, Brother! Funny stat - she is 7th in scoring average, but only 22nd on the money list (and she has missed only one of ten events in 2021). The payouts on this tour are pathetic ... her best finish this year is T-6 and it got her only $4,468 ... top-10 is not enough, she's gotta WIN and maybe more than once. The best part is she seems motivated to play a lot and play well ... it didn't look like that two years ago. I'd love to see her game these days ... it's been three years since the last time I did. I wonder if she's still gaming those blunderbuss Titleist AP1 irons.

Golf Digest Korea has a lengthy interview with Ayean Cho. The article is titled: Ayean Cho's responses to Sophomore Questions Summary: After a two win season in her Rookie campaign, she fell thirty spots on the money list in 2020, missing more cuts than she made top tens. She claims she doesn't remember laughing while playing that year. She never thought she was the best in her rookie year, she simply thought that she could do better. Her response was to work even harder than before, but her results did not live up to what she wanted and she became confused and sad (HF: to be frank, it sounds like she's putting too much pressure on herself, a common Korean trait). The worse she did, the harder she worked and the more depressed she got. She tried making swing changes, but they didn't take. She came to realize that she was putting too much pressure on herself to do well unconditionally. In the second half of 2020, she took a lot more breaks. She sometimes went a while without practicing. This year she feels like she is happier on course, and though she isn't fully back, feels closer to her best form than 2020. She's still not satisfied with her swing: her swing coach is also her sister (!) Minjun Cho. She is still hoping to play on the LPGA some more and perhaps join it one day.

Simin Feng has $320K in career earnings on the LPGA ... that plus fifty cents got her a cup of coffee in Japan. For whatever it's worth, she was one of twenty-two players who passed the JLPGA Pro Test on June 26.

Golf Digest Korea also published a video featuring Ayean Cho called 'Crazy Question Party':
The gimmick is that she is holding a lie detector that gives her a jolt if she tells a fib. She gets zapped a couple of times.
She's asked "which do you like better" questions. Among the ones I understood:
- Had no preference for SBS Golf vs. Golf Digest. - Preferred the nickname 'Iron Cho' over 'Pink Princess' (the latter from her pink golf ball) - Likes her first win better than her second - Her favorite shot in a tournament was her approach on the final hole of her first win - Loved playing at the Aussie Open with Inbee more than her final round at the Vic Open.
The funniest one (I think I understand this correctly) is a choice between her fan club vs. some idol (Ji kko?) who sent her a nice note. She picks her fan club, but when asked again she gets jolted.
