Hee Jeong Lim wasn't very sharp today, with only two birdies. She went two up with her second birdie on the tenth hole. She lost the next two holes and the Match was tied. They both made pars until eighteen, when Bo Ah Kim made birdie to win one up. SBS must have something against her, because she was shown only on two putts.
Again they showed Ha Na Jang a lot, I just don't care for her attitude.

Here are the pairings for the round of 16:
First Quarter: Hae Ran Ryu vs. Han Sol Ji Ji Hyun Kim vs. Bo Mi Kwak
Second Quarter: Min Ji Park vs. Ye Rim Choi Su Yeon Jang vs. Se Rin Hyun
Third Quarter: Ha Na Jang vs. So Hyun Bae Hee Jeong Lim vs. Yeon Ju Jung
Fourth Quarter: Na Rin An vs. Ju Young Park Hyun Kyung Park vs. Ji Young Park
1st and 2nd quarter are the left side of the bracket, the others the right side. Looks like the right side is a bit tougher, with Jang, Lim, An and Hyun Kyung Park all on that side.

I guess that I don't have to worry about Hee Jeong Lim being on the Broadcast. Playing the first two rounds with twelve birdies, I thought that she would go deep. However she only made four birdies the next two rounds. She made the turn one up, but back nine made one birdie, two bogeys and a X.
She played so great in 2019 her Rookie Year, three wins and lots of top tens. I thought that she would be the one to beat going forward.
She started out 2020 great but when leading the Final Round. She found a way to give the Tournament away on the back nine.
She has played really good starting this year when she is not in contention. The young talented golfer just needs to learn how to perform under pressure again.

haha, yes, love that BOB outfit on Park Ju Young! I thought it was more of a North Korean look. She made a great putt to win her round of 16 match in overtime. Then held off the very pouty (and wild) Park Hyun Kyung in the quarterfinals.
Rooting for Park Min Ji to take this thing tomorrow!

Quarterfinals
Min Ji Park beat Su Yeon Jang 2 & 1 Yeon Ju Jung beat So Hyun Bae 5 & 3 Han Sol Ji beat Ji Hyun Kim 2 & 1 Ju Young Park beat Hyun Kyung Park 4 & 3
Semis: Yeon Ju Jung vs. Ju Young Park Han Sol Ji vs. Min Ji Park
Some comments: - Several times in the past, a superstar won this event to cement her rep: In Gee Chun and Sung Hyun Park are two examples that come to mind. Can Min Ji Park join that group? - Han Sol Ji was runner-up at this event a few years ago... Can she break through with a huge win and second career victory? She obviously likes match play. - Mini-Rocket is a surprising semi-finalist, but what a way to break through with her first career win if she pulls it off. - Yeon Ju Jung was a ROY in 2011 and a Doosan runner-up to Char Young Kim in 2012, but has faded into obscurity. Could this be her ticket back to the big time?

Na Rin An had a bad break on her drive that ended under the front lip of the bunker. She made a great pitch on her fourth shot to get close. After Ju Young Park poor chip, it looked like she might get a tie. But Ju Young, who sometimes miss short putts like her sister, drained the birdie putt.

Match play is one of these fringe skills that seems to have its own group of players who excel at it, kind of like clay in tennis. Char Young Kim was another player who seemed to contend more often at this event than at normal tour events.
Min Ji Park is clearly the favorite at this point, but let's be frank: she had probably the easiest run I've ever seen. Her bracket was not that tough (Ju Yeon In has one win, Uree Jun none, and Ran Hong has won once in the past five years or so), and none of her two match play opponents were big names (Ye Rim Choi is second tier at best, while Su Yeon Jang has been in a downward trend for years). And none of her three remaining challengers is a big name on tour, either. She never had to face even one of the top ten stars. She should be pretty bummed if she lets this one get away from her!

Yes, I believe it was the KLPGA vs LPGA when Char Young Kim played So Yeon Ryu. She had done nothing all year, but I think she beat So Yeon, or came close. Anyway she played her best Golf of the year. However Min Ji Park took care of business against the lesser player.
