Not naming anybody in particular. But why do some golfers stand by their ball. Wait until it's time to hit to put on their glove and pull a club. That's one of the annoying things that slows a group down.
This frustrates me to no end, in pro golf and irl. There's being a slow player and there's being an inefficient one. The latter is considerably worse IMO. So self-centered. God what I would give to see more players just show some hustle on the course. Shanshan hustles, another reason I love her!
Solid day for the Power Parks at the top of the standings. It took Inbee a little while, but once she started rolling, she shot a tidy 69 to move to 11 under. Rocket was a bit more rickety, but she had some great approaches, and a nice birdie on 18 to tie Inbee for the lead.
Meanwhile, Hyo Joo lurks two back, and So Yeon is four back and right in this thing. Hyo Joo could start to write her ticket to Tokyo with a win here; if Ryu does it, she becomes the biggest threat to Kim for the Olympic berth. Amy at 7 under loves playing in Asia, so watch her.
In Gee made a slight move to 4 under. She's just outside the top 20. Alas, Six was not Lucky Six today; a 74 moved her back to 2 under.
What is up with Jin Young this year? She already followed a top ten with a missed cut, and now she shoots a 76 and is duking it out with Namdalla near the bottom a week after a third place. If it's her wrist, I hope she figures that out soon!
What's with color commentator Su-Ann Heng mispronouncing So Yeon ROO?!
Only one of the 3 says "roo", so not sure why the other two don't point out her error. Besides that though, this team of commentators is quite a refreshing change from the usual Gold Channel ones.
As for Jin Young - if it's her wrist, I wish she'd just drop out and fly back to US to recover and get ready for US Open.
SHPark, alas... Her longtime caddy David has deserted her for the PGA, so must be struggling with a lot of things besides her errant drives and irons.
It's a shame D. Jones left Sung Hyun. They worked great for a long time. At least he didn't dump her for Paula. Maybe she'll bring back the green reading guru she had at CordeValle. SHP is just fine tuning everything before USWO.
Great Eagle and three birdie finish by So Yeon after the three bogeys dropped her to minus three. Not happy with the Broadcasters, who called her Eagle putt on eight a birdie. They didn't show her birdie on nine but showed her short missed birdie on ten.
Not sure what is happening with Jeongeun Lee6 with all the bogeys. She missed five greens and had thirty three putts. I guess she made bogey on all the greens that she missed.
A Lim Kim four birdies and two bogey is decent. That's usually how she plays, except she may throw in a great or a bad round sometimes.
