Lydia, Minjee, Inbee, Jin Young and Georgia Hall visit a Bee sanctuary in Singapore. Inbee should feel right at home!

I read a Korean language article where Jin Young said she injured her wrist before the final round in LA last week. Apparently she noticed something was wrong on the practice mat. She says she hasn't practiced since. We'll have to keep an eye on that this week...

The defending champion is 100 to 1. That means you are broken but still have the best hair on Tour.

Inbee has nice things to say abut Jin Young: Inbee on Jin YoungInteresting facts: this week new Ko tied the total weeks at #1 with Old Ko, and is just two weeks short of the number of weeks Inbee was at #1. That last fact is astonishing; it seems like Inbee was #1 far longer than Lydia was, but apparently not.

I'm a bit confused. The 8:42 tee time at #10 has only two players, JTibs and Hsu, while MHL goes off by herself at 9:42 at #10. Apparently it is no error as only Shin and Hsu just posted scores at #10 ... and MHL will be stuck behind everyone all day.
JTibs teeing off at #11 after bogeying #10.

Round 1 Great start for the Sisters. Hee Young Rocketed up the leaderboard, settling in with a fantastic 65. She was clearly having a ball. Hope she can keep it up! But the star was Inbee. This is the sharpest I've seen her all year, including at Kia. She made everything look easy. My theory is that she's concentrating extra hard to take the pressure off her hubby, who's acting as her caddie this week. Anyways, 8 birdies, no bogies, great stuff! So Yeon and Hyo Joo in at 67, Lucky 6 and Amy 68. In Gee only had a 71, but she hit 16 of 18 greens and drove over 280, so her big issue was her putting. This should be a course that suits her, so we'll see if she can pick it up tomorrow. Jin Young was stuck in a bad group, with Namdalla playing horribly and Danielle mediocre. Despite only a 71, JYK played OK, so it's not hard to imagine her improving a lot from here on. Sisters hwaiting!!

She needs an endorsement deal with Rocket Mortgage -
I dunno ... did someone on team MHL catch the bug? She's playing in a one-some again on Friday. I didn't watch the broadcast ... any explanations given?

It's been too long since we've seen an on-camera interview with the Rocket.

Not naming anybody in particular. But why do some golfers stand by their ball. Wait until it's time to hit to put on their glove and pull a club. That's one of the annoying things that slows a group down.
