This three-rounder starts Friday with a field of 120 ... top-60 plus ties make the cut. The galleries that came out to Kawana GC this past week must go back under the bed for this one. Delighted to see Queen Shiho in the line-up again ... until she drops out again. I don't know if she is through ... was more than respectable in 2020, making nine of eleven cuts.
TV Tokyo will have the weekend regular broadcasts (Japan time) -
Sat. 4 PM Sun. 4 PM

The TV Tokyo YouTube channel is supposed to have streaming starting at 9:30 AM for all three rounds (probably geo-blocked). Try this search for rogue streams:

Kotone Hori will tee it up in this Tournament, which is great. I don't know how she finished on the Step-Up Tour last week.
I wasn't able to find a finals Leaderboard. She finished plus two tied for twenty seven with thirteen other Golfers. It's ok a little pocket change come in handy sometimes.

My mistake - this is a three-round tourney that starts Friday - I corrected the first post of this thread.
Meanwhile, they had 561 PCR tests of people connected to this event and one came back positive. This was discovered before the person went to the golf course and it was determined that he/she did not have close contact with other people. For once, they don't appear to be in a tizzy about it as Thursday prep has started -

Surprise, surprise, the YouTube feed for Round One is not geo-blocked ... looking good at 1080p here:
It appears to be the 1st hole tee-offs now ... I assume they'll show other holes later. Some good groups are approaching #1 ... the next one at 9:50 AM local time is HK Bae/Suzuki/Watanabe.

So did I, she was next to Erika Hara whose face was pasty white from recent application of sunblock.
I don't understand this broadcast at all. The cameras have stuck with three unknowns from #1 thru #3 ... they're doing okay, but why focus on them? They're back to the range again ... Momoko Ueda has the tour super coach on her bag this week. Now they've gone back to the 4th tee with the unknowns again ... nobody cares about them!

I doze off for 3+ hours, wake up and see The Three Amigos Unknowns on the 14th hole ... at least they also started following a threesome of Erika Hara/Mone Iname/Momoko Ueda. Meanwhile, Kotone Hori turned into Lazarus with 5-under 67 and I'll bet they didn't show any of it. Maybe I'll just stick with the regular TV Tokyo broadcast on the weekend.

A lot of dreams were dashed today as all past winners occupy the first five spots on the leaderboard. The cut was -1 and 60 players made it.

Erika Hara picked up her first ace as a pro, a slum dunk at #13.
Momoko Osato hasn't had back-to-back sub-70 rounds since the 2019 JWO.
Kotone Hori (-3) and S. Langkul (-3) hit the skids today.
Mi Jeon Jeong (-3) and Erina Hara (MC)
SW Bae (-1) and Yuka Yasuda (-3)

I was hoping that Kotone Hori would have another good round. However seventy four isn't horrible, so she can still make a top ten.

The same winds that whipped through the KLPGA championship must have been here, too. Throw in greens that had huge breaks in them and you can see why the leaders threw it in reverse gear. This was one of the better pre-recorded broadcasts, as a lot of players had a chance to win.

Win number 16 was on the second playoff hole.
I was really hoping Momoko Osato would win, so that people would say that Hinako Shibuno was her best friend.
Ting Ting failed to make a birdie putt on the par-5 18th to reach the playoff
Low am Akie Iwai reached #18 in two, but barely missed the eagle putt to make the playoff.
Mone Iname had a putt to WIN at #18. It was on the exact same line as Ting Ting's, but she missed it and missed the comebacker to miss the playoff.
She opened with two birdies on Sunday and was a -8 ... however, her tee shot at #13 (below) starts at 1:01:12 of the video above, which was the beginning of the end.
Sumika Nakasone (+1)and Mi Jeong Jeon
Sky Kim (E)
Saku-chan (+2) still leads the big three 2020-21 stats, but for how much longer?
