Lucy Li should buy either Reto or Liti a dinner; thanks to them, she's safely in Symetra Tour field this week.
The thing I saw last week at Symetra Tour is the volatility of the leaderboard, much more so than at LPGA. Most players are good for one of two good rounds, but Rose Zhang was the only player who improved everyday.
Rose surfaced when she won ANA Junior Inspiration to qualify for ANA in 2018. At that time, Lucy was the No. 1 junior and was already exempted to play ANA that year.
How fortune has changed for the two of them in a short period of three years!

Rose Zhang is scheduled to enroll at Stanford University or has already done so. I wonder how long she will remain an Amateur, because she has a Pro-Quality game now. One thing she has a grade point average of 4.6 in High School. So that will be a helpful at a high Academic School like Stanford. She hasn't picked a Major yet, but one of her Classes are Financial Management. Which is a plus for when she finally turn Professional.

My field rating for this event is 82%. This will probably be the highest rating of any non-major this year. My breakdown is 93% from the Priority List and 71% from the Rolex Rankings.
This event was not played last year...but my field rating was 80% in 2019.
The only key player missing from this event is Jessica Korda (unless you think Jodi Ewart Shadoff is a key player).
This tournament also marks the return of several key and well known names: Hyo Joo Kim Mo Martin In Kyung Kim Michelle Wie West A Lim Kim
This should be a good one!

I would consider Shanshan Feng a key player, that's missing.

Jennifer Chang made only 5 of 13 weekends in 2020, but had a T8 at this year's Drive On Ocala Championship.

It would have been 1.5% higher if Jessica had played.

I would consider Shanshan Feng a key player, that's missing. I had been listing her as a key player...but stopped because I don't feel like she is part of the LPGA anymore. Maybe she will surprise us like Hyo Joo did this week.
