I'd love a HITE cap like Jin Young Ko wears or a Solaire one like SH Park. Hana Bank and Mirae Asset stuff would be cool too. I'd think the HITE at least shouldn't be too hard to find, but I've had no luck.
Any ideas?

Jin Young Ko is also sponsored by Solaire now. Hite no longer!
Some people have had luck getting caps by asking the players at tournaments. Which of course isn't an option now. You could try asking the LPGA, but I suspect they have no answer, either...

Thanks! Now Solaire is even cooler! I actually wrote them directly as well as SH Park's publicist about getting a cap but neither replied.  Maybe I'll try Jin Young Ko's publicist.. and the Tour.. and bug Solaire again. The sponsors should really want us fans to wear their gear! |

In the meantime, you could do a virtual workaround: Find an image of your favorite player wearing her hat and make that your avatar/profile pic on SS. |

Very difficult to find, especially the sponsor logo stuff in Hangul - I was given a 대방건설 umbrella (Daebang Construction) by a company rep during the Busan BMW tournament last year. He was among the fans following Lee6's group, carrying several umbrellas. Also was given a yellow Lucky 6 hat by her fanclub, but would love one of those 대방건설 hats. And during the Hanabank in Incheon a couple years ago I bought a HANA(bank) hat. Also, Sung Hyun Park's Naver fanclub has occasionally run contests to win Solaire hats, and a lot of the fanclub members have them - some because they stayed at a Solaire resort in the Philippines (where you can buy them). I've never won, although not a big fan of the Solaire hat anyway. Maybe write to a Solaire resort? I have several NDL hats and some clothing from Beanpole's NDL line (Namdalla) - some bought in Seoul, some online. Can buy those at the SSF Shop online en.ssfshop.com/public/search/search/view?dspCtgryNo=PLAN&brandShopNo=&brndShopId=&etcCtgryNo=&ctgrySectCd=&keyword=ndl&recomSmtFlterVal=&leftBrandNM= - they ship international, but the stuff is pricey. And I got a Namdalla hat and fan towel through the fanclub. All the big women's golf clothing brands - Pearly Gates, FANTOM, Master Bunny Edition, WAAC, LPGA, HONMA, etc.- are available in the larger deparment stores and in some outlet malls in Korea. Hard to find them online - KOLON Mall has them www.kolonmall.com/, but doesn't ship international, you'd have to go through a shipping consolidator. Same with Creas mall www.creasmall.co.kr/But the big prizes are the hats with hangul, at least for me, anyway. I've tried looking on eBay - no luck so far... |
