This one runs Nov. 4 thru 6. A field of 56, including The Old Ko, Minjee, Gimee, Muni, Boutier, Law, Georgia, Charley, Dame Laura and Matthew, will be clawing over a total purse of €260,000 (about $303K USD). Details below ... we'll see have if they have the usual YouTube geo-blocking.

The LET will begin two weeks of Saudi sports washing after Dubai. I don't blame the minor leaguers for being there, but I didn't know that Ciganda, Charley, Georgia and Anna were so hard up for money.

This is currently listed as a live event on the NBC Sports streaming app beginning at 10:00am ET for 3 hours each day 11/4-6.
That would be a start time of 6pm in Dubai. So I guess they're not kidding about that "Moonlight" part.

The world has an 180 degree reversal in last 30 years; we now have rich Asians and humble Europeans. Unlike Koreans, those Europeans have no meaningful endorsements to fatten their income.

In addition to the paltry purse, I'm pretty sure there are sizeable appearance fees involved for the name players. Let's just hope the deal doesn't include a private audience with the Sultan, for Muni's sake.

Let's just hope the deal doesn't include a private audience with the Sultan, for Muni's sake. The appearance fees would be substantial for Lydia and Minjee, but not as much for Muni or Europeans. Europeans and LET are scheduled to play two consecutive tournaments in Saudi Arabia the next two weeks with a combined purse of US$1.5 millions; which is the equivalent of $10.0 million for LPGA.

Tengolf Televisión is the GC of Spain ... they have highlights on YouTube.
Hedwall's ace ... I've seen her play in person more than once and I don't remember her fidgeting so much at address. Well, it didn't prevent a slam dunk, which is almost impossible to see at full speed.
Minjee birdie at par-5 10th via classy short game.

I wonder how hot it is there at night?
Go Minjee!
Inci Mehmet shot a 77 in the first round...

The first wave was a shotgun start at 10 AM (if you can call 28 players a "wave") and is finished ... the second wave will start at 4:30 PM.
Minjee is back in it with a 65.
Gimmee had a 68.
Muni on Day One ... shot 70 on Day Two.

It looked like Minjee was playing in the daylight in round two, but in the night in round one? I wonder how much of a difference that made in improving her score?

Minjee teed off at 5:10 PM (nine hours ahead of EST) ... she better get on her bicycle as Boutier is -3 on her first eight holes and leads by a shot at -9.

I got up to speed and watched the final round this morning on the Golf Channel. It was interesting to witness night play. Definite cannot hit wayward shots. Annoying that the course was next to a busy highway.
Great birdie putt by Minjee to win the playoff. Too bad I couldn't see it live as the broadcast had to cut over to the PGA at 10 my time.

Great job, Minjee! Definitely a case of the best player winning this week!
