I just noticed that this is the second Tournament Hee Jeong Lim, no top ten. She also had only one round in the sixties. I hope she turns it around and finish strong. Player of The Year is within reach. She just needs to stop three putting and missing short birdie putts.
You really have to start putting my new favorite player on your Notables scoring list. It's a glaring omission.
HoJo leads the moneylist...by over 200,000,000 won! I hope she's not talking to The Hulk about the benefits of dumping the LPGA and staying in Korea full-time.
Sure, I can add her. My rule of thumb is: LPGA golfers and the biggest names/most popular are always mentioned; the interesting gals not quite in that category get mentioned if they are in the top 25; otherwise, they are only mentioned if in the top ten.
But if people here want to monitor specific ladies, I can add them!
What a weird POY race- #1 Hye Jin Choi and #3 Hee Jeong Lim have both not won a single event this year. #2 Hyo Joo Kim has won but is not a full time member.
Granted, with the pared down schedule, it's an unusual year, but personally, I don't feel a player should win POY unless she wins at least once.
Also, Lim officially has 9 top tens in 15 starts; Choi 13 in 14 starts. S-OIL is not official.
I don't think that Hee Jeong Lim can win Player of The Year. Unless she wins one of the remaining Tournaments. Actually it's wishful thinking, the way she is playing now. She is sort of in a mini-slump, compared to the way she has played.
