It seems like you can bank on Lydia having a good opening round this year. She would have if she hadn't hit in the water on par three seventeen and make triple bogey. She rebounded and made a birdie on eighteen. She is playing better and I hope she keep it going.

I’m going to have to join the Kang gang to enjoy these broadcasts. Not thrilled about that.

Lindsey Weaver just missed about a 3-footer at #18, walked to the other side of the hole at warp speed and knocked it in ... I think the ball was at rest when she hit it, but I'd like to see a replay.

Bianca P. sports the same ICTSI logo as Yuka Saso, some kind of ports company in The Philipinnes. I guess it's like the Siam Cement Group (SCG) backing the Thais.

Getty strikes again. They say this pic from Round One is Jennifer Chang. Uh, no it's not ... my best guess is Yujeong Son.

68-67 for Bianca. Here we go!
It's funny Tony saw her hit a couple bomb drivers and knew to watch her play a round. Good scouting.

When they mentioned it was the first tournament held in the State of Georgia in 14 years, my first guess as to which tourney that was was the Ginn Resort Open won by Mi Hyun Kim (see SoYeonFan's avatar). Alas, I was wrong. That was held in Florida. The Chick-Fil-A was in Georgia.
I'll always remember the Ginn's trophy presentation. The presenter was a good ol' boy who told Mi Hyun his boyhood nickname was "Peanut".
Lake Oconee is an interesting geographical feature. It appears to have formed from a dammed up river.
The golf course is interesting, too. I wonder how easy it would be to spectate on the course versus from the water? I have a friend who lives in Augusta. She has extended an invite to stay at her place if and when I get to attend the Masters. Maybe I could take advantage for this tournament some day. What are the odds it could become a permanent part of the season? Congrats to the commish for calling in his chits to get this conducted after just 60 days.
Bianca Pagdanganan took advantage of her luck of being the last one in and be just one behind the lead.

Be fair, Beth has already written 2-3 articles about Bianca.

Sone guy commented that the Ladies were picking up the balls. He asked since when is that legal. Since the LPGA decided to play preferred lies if the grass is damp. I repeat these Golfers are professionals and the Golf Rules and setup should reflect that. If they want the occasional golf fan to respect that, let them display their talent.

Danielle's wedge into the 72nd green was one of the best hail mary's I've ever seen in golf. She has come such a long way to become the best American player. In her first years on the tour I thought she was a goof off who would probably not amount to much despite the awesome amateur accomplishments. She just seemed sort of flighty and unfocused. Guess she just needed a little time.
