The TV Asahi stream crapped out on me about halfway thru, so I went back to sleep, but the final outcome was somewhat obvious at that point.
POS PLAYER SCORE 1R 2R 3R TOTAL PRIZE 1 Jiyai Shin -7 70 70 69 209 ¥18,000,000 2T Ayaka Furue -5 74 71 66 211 ¥7,900,000 2T Seonwoo Bae -5 68 73 70 211 ¥7,900,000 4T Mamiko Higa -4 69 75 68 212 ¥4,625,000 4T Yuna Nishimura -4 73 71 68 212 ¥4,625,000 4T Mi-Jeong Jeon -4 71 71 70 212 ¥4,625,000 4T Saki Asai -4 72 67 73 212 ¥4,625,000 8T Asuka Kashiwabara -3 70 74 69 213 ¥2,750,000 8T Mone Inami -3 69 73 71 213 ¥2,750,000 10T Yuka Saso -2 70 74 70 214 ¥1,935,000 10T Hana Wakimoto -2 73 69 72 214 ¥1,935,000 12T Minami Katsu -1 71 75 69 215 ¥1,570,000 12T Ai Suzuki -1 73 73 69 215 ¥1,570,000 12T Lala Anai -1 71 74 70 215 ¥1,570,000 12T Erika Kikuchi -1 72 73 70 215 ¥1,570,000 12T Sakura Koiwai -1 70 74 71 215 ¥1,570,000
The JLPGA website says it's her 23rd "official" win ... they're not counting her two wins at the LPGA Mizuno, even though they list them.
Ji Hee Lee (+3)
Sky Kim (E)
Yuka Saso/Sakura Koiwai and Queen Shiho (+3)/Ai Suzuki
Until I saw this morning's broadcast, I had forgotten that this is the course with the big trench bunker guarding the Sunday flag at #18.

I guess I didn't post this last night so I will do it again. Same oh Jiyai Shin, come out of Retirement and win a Tournament.
It was great to see Ha-Neul Kim minus three for even par Tournament.

Ji-yai is amazing, I don't think she gets the recognition she deserves. I would say that she would have to be the best world competing golfer there is, I mean her stats speaks for herself
57 career wins all around the world - Laura Davies and to a lesser extent Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb have had success just not on the LPGA but on other tours as well but to me Ji-yai far exceeds them.
In terms of her generation of players, she is far superior to Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie
I was looking at her career prize money stats for all three tours and it's almost USD20 Million, that would put her in her fourth place behind Sorenstam, Webb and Kerr if all her tours prizemoney was included.

I still remember a few years back when Shin was #1 in the world and was paired with Michelle Wie in a match play event on the LPGA. The commentators persisted in acting like Wie was the favorite and Shin would not be able to hang with her. It was amazing how dismissive they were of the freaking #1 in the world golfer!!! Wie would outdrive her by 70 yards and Shin still kicked her butt all over the course (naturally Jiyai easily won that match).
I know the World Golf HOF tends to favor players with long LPGA careers, but if ever someone who did not focus on the LPGA deserved a spot in the HOF, it's Shin.

Also how unprofessional Michelle Wei acted.
