Great round by Sei Young Kim of minus five to lead by one.. Some how Golf Chanel Camera couldn't find her on the Course. Which is nothing new for them.
Yui Kawamoto had a nice even par round. She made birdie on two of her last three holes.

As Rob Riggle would exclaim, "Holey Moley!" Sei Young Kim comes out of nowhere to take the lead. She shot 29 on her back nine, a stretch that crushed a lot of dreams of making the cut (see Alison Curdt and Haley Moore).

We could always play Best Player w/o a Major. Has to be SYK. Hope she gets it.

Go Sei young! strange that she did her 2R interview in Korean - she's usually quite good in English. Guess maybe she's been back in Korea for too long most of the summer.

Round 2 Wow, talk about an unexpected late charge! Sei Young seemed permanently mired between 1 and 3 over for a round and a half. Then, after the coverage ends, she makes one of the best runs of the year: six birdies on her back nine, including 4 in a row, and just like that she's in the lead. I'm not even beginning to give this one to her yet. There's a lot of golf to play, and a lot of players within 6 shots. But if she can keep her nerve, she can finally do what she should have done years ago: get a Major trophy. Good luck to her! Meanwhile, great 67 by In Gee! That got her under par and just outside the top ten. Saturday is another one of those gut check moments for her. She's clearly playing well enough to contend, but she has to make the decisive move in the right direction tomorrow. Go In Gee! Inbee looks strong for someone who has such a length disadvantage on this course. She weathered a few bad shots and kept herself just four back. Plenty of time to establish herself; time for a really great round to set the table. Wouldn't count Namdalla or Amy Yang out, either. Amy is even more overdue a Major than Sei Young, and she's only five back. Sisters hwaiting! Sei Young Kim In Gee Chun Inbee Park Sung Hyun Park Amy Yang Mirim Lee -- another injury, this time her wrist Yealimi Noh Lee 5 Danielle Kang

I like that I can wear the same outfit watching D Kang on the couch that she has on the course.

She's def leaning into a certain part of the clothing line though. Casual/comfy. She'd have some news for me though, and that's that she can wear whatever the heck she wants. Badass.

I don't know if it's out of respect or desperation ... Crazy Bob is really stepping up in going after the lady pros ... even Linnea Ström, who is bombing out today.

Oh, and while I'm at it, Paige Mackenzie is the worst. I never heard anyone use so many words to say so little. She's the queen of the obvious.
I didn't watch the first round, but from what I've heard in rounds two and three, she has improved since her early broadcasting appearances as Mush Mouth Mac ... really! She even imparted some useful golf info so far: 1.) Players were going to the gear vans earlier in the week requesting extra hybrid builds (including Winbee); 2.) DK has been working with Butch recently on putting more air under her hybrids and FWs.
Cockrill also stepped up, said Kupcho dumped her bag a few weeks ago and went back to her college gear, which is obviously paying off. Where is Brandel? I think this is what they call a shut club face ... Zack Johnson would not object.

I just thought she was patronizing and condescending to KT in round 1, talking like she's a rookie who's never played on the big tour. But -- as everyone here knows -- I know nothing about golf, especially the gearhead stuff. But wait until Lexi gets caught cheating again...I'll have plenty of informed opinion on that! And I'm also qualified to talk about the players' outfits...and Kelly had a great one today.

They need weekly a fashion segment where a player gets help w/ their outfit by the likes of a Kelly Tan.

Great leaderboard! The top four combine for 47 victories. I'm pulling for Sei Young to finally step in the major victory ring.

Round 3 Sei Young had another good round today. She looked like she was on her way to a big lead, but her final hole bogey made it a bit closer for tomorrow. Still, she's looking surprisingly confident and determined right now. I sure hope this can finally be her week! Inbee was also solid in silently creeping up the leaderboard. A strong 66, and only three back. If she gets on a putting roll tomorrow, she might be in position to avenge the loss to Sei Young back in Hawaii. In Gee never really got it going. But I still feel like she's got a great round left in her. I think winning is a big long shot, but top five is definitely doable. Would love to see her make the broadcast!!! Danielle Kang showed how quickly things can go south. Why she decided to putt through 60 feet of fringe is beyond me, but you can tell that after that fubar she was massively pissed at herself. She made two more bogies, and just like that probably knocked herself out of the tournament. Amazing. Sisters hwaiting!! Sei Young Kim Yealimi Noh Sung Hyun Park
