This one kicks off Friday. Ah Reum Hwang won a rain-shortened 36-hole version of this event last year ... same venue, Tomei CC, so you'll get some cool views of Mt. Fuji. As reported, Sky Kim and Jae Eun Chung will make their 2020 Japan debuts this week. Unfortunately, this may be a contributing factor on why The Leader of The Pack is not in the field. Japan's minor minor league is playing this week (Oct. 8-10), so maybe she'll get one of the open spots there.
The tournament website set up a YouTube account here:
It appears that they'll have three different channels set up for Rounds One and Two with action starting at 8 AM (Japan time). They'll have two channels going for Sunday starting at 8 AM.

Good start for Kotone Hori, but she needs to win. I don't know if that will be much help for getting her card. But it wouldn't hurt and help keep her Sponsor. Not to mention every one needs a little pocket money.

I tried that YouTube link, but don't see any live videos set up yet. I thought they would have been in place by now. I'll check later.

Ok, I figured out why the YouTube collection looks empty ... it's geo-blocked.
I assume the weather played a role in these scores.

An oncoming typhoon (below) has cancelled Round Two. The plan is get in the final 18 holes on Sunday. The storm must be localized because the minor minor leagues has started its Saturday (final) round.

Kotone Hori is already plus two through four holes. Not looking good for her to pick up a win.

She finished T-11 and two-round leader Kotono Kozuma also blew it by finishing one shot back in 2nd place.
The second career win in the minor minor leagues for Eri Joma

With this event shortened to 36 holes, they did a cut for the top-71 players after Round One. Some of the bigger names ejected were Ai Suzuki, Queen Shiho, Momoko Osato, Minami Katsu, Serena Aoki, Misuzu Narita and Sky Kim.
Forget about watching this one live from my neck of the woods. Will check YT tomorrow for any rogue replays.
SW Bae was -4 on her first nine holes and Sakura Koiwai was -3 on her first ten holes.

Yes, a three-way playoff won on the first hole by Mone Inami, her second career win on the big tour. With the event shortened, prize money was reduced by 25% and only the top-60 plus ties were paid.
