As expected the TOTO Japan Classic has been cancelled on the US LPGA Tour due to Covid 19 and Japan's quarantine rules but will still be played and be a sole JLPGA event in 2020
The field which is normally 78 players compromising of 40 USLPGA and 38 JLPGA players will revert for one year to 108 JLPGA members.
Good news is the event will be back on the US LPGA Tour in 2021
I now expect the BMW Ladies Championship on the KLPGA to follow suit.

Time for Whan to pull more rabbits out of the hat ... if anyone can partially fill the new five-week gap in the sked at this late date, he can.
This is a lucky break for The Superstar to play an additional unplanned JLPGA event this year.

No, per Google mush from the article above, the field will remain at 78 ... all JLPGAers with no cut and a hefty purse of 160 million yen for a reduced field. Unfortunately, now The Leader of The Pack probably won't get in.

Unfortunately, now The Leader of The Pack probably won't get in. According to the new English language JLPGA website, Solar is "92th" on the priority list, so 14 players would have to drop out for her to climb onto the Toto (so to speak). Maybe her listed Type B blood type will figure into it somehow as well.
