Started to watch the streaming in time to see Legend Yuri Fudoh tee off on hole one. She had a good round of minus two. Her shorter back swing look like she started playing golf with it. It really looks so solid....I hope that I don't jinx her.
Ayaka Watanabe three putted from about three feet, after a great pitch shot on five. She kind of held it together after the double bogey with two birdies and a bogey.
I only got to watch the Stream for about two hours. Since they are showing the names in English, I will try to watch more.

Dozed off after dinner ... woke up a few hours later to see The Superstar (+3 overall) play the par-3 16th. She needed to stick it close ... 30 feet is NOT close ... made par, but she'll need a birdie-birdie finish to make the cut.
*****
Odd noises in the background, like they're next to an airport. But, there is no airport near the course on Google Maps.

As I figured, the cut line was +1 and 68 players made it.
RANK PLAYER SCORE TODAY 1R 2R 3R 4R TOTAL 1 Hee-Kyung Bae -8 -5 69 67 136 2T Yuka Saso -6 -2 68 70 138 2T Rieru Shibusawa -6 -6 72 66 138 2T Sayaka Takahashi -6 -4 70 68 138 2T Yuna Nishimura -6 -4 70 68 138 2T Ayako Kimura -6 -1 67 71 138 7T Teresa Lu -5 0 67 72 139 7T Hikari Tanabe -5 -2 69 70 139 7T Momo Yoshikawa -5 -4 71 68 139 7T Sakura Koiwai -5 -1 68 71 139 7T Saki Nagamine -5 -2 69 70 139
Queen Shiho (+1) almost blew it with a 75 today.
Serena Aoki (-2) sank under the weight of a 76.
Hee Kyung Bae
Miyuki Takeuchi (-4)
Ayako Kimura soared to a perch at -9, then looked down on everyone and got dizzy.
By Sunday, we could see a Saso/Koiwai rematch.

I'm rockin' this new English language website. So much arcane info...height, weight, etc. Ting Ting bombed out at +4 too. Maybe her listed Type 0 blood type had something to do with it?

Thought that I had jinxed the Legend Yuri Fudoh again. She finished with the early groups at +3, +1 for the Tournament. The cut was even for most of the Tournament, but +1 made it. So she get to display her golfing skills two more days.

It's raining on the range and I see only four players there. Where is everyone? The first tee times are in less than 35 minutes and the rain doesn't appear hard enough to cause a postponement. They switched over to the practice green, which has three players. Back to range ... a few more players have come out. Both channels are running now ... I think that's Miki Saiki on Channel 2. Shinobu Moromizato has also appeared on the YT broadcasts.

Right now, the YT feeds are focused on the 16th and 18th holes, so they're not following the leaders. I assume the final groups are being saved for the TV Asahi broadcast, which starts at 2 AM EST. Their Sunday coverage will be at 1 AM EST.

Eight Head has physio tape going up her left leg ... now -3 after making par putt at #16 .... plays Titleist ball ... hard to believe she has space for rent on both sides of her cap.
They showed a video of Saiki Fujita draining the winning putt at this event ten years ago while wearing a red MacGregor cap ... and I have a red MacGregor V-Foil cap. This chick is just too cool.
After regaining her card in q-school, she is having an excellent year ... finished her round at -5.
Na Ri Lee had the lead after five birdies in her first ten holes ... slid backwards after that.
Momo Yoshikawa had a chip-in birdie at #16 ... Kana Mikashima tried to putt/chip her ball left-handed with her putter from off a green, with brutal results.

The Saso/Koiwai rematch could still happen, but they'll be in different groups on Sunday.

Mi Jeong Jeon (-3) ... what's with all the cameras at #15?
Yuna Nishimura
Sayaka Takahashi
Saku-chan forgot it was Moving Day, until she birdied #13, 15, 16 and 18. Saso was a little over the green in two at the par-5 18th (510 yards), two-putted for birdie and had no bogeys for the day.

If this was drag racing, Hee Kyung Bae had it won after five holes, where she had four birdies and missed another one at #3 by one inch. But, they were saying that this course's defense was having long par-threes and Bae learned that the hard way by airmailing the greens at #8 (180 yards) and #14 (190 yards) ... made doubles on both.
Shot of the day was one-hop eagle by Sayaka Takahashi at #5 ... see at 4:03:00 thru 4:05:50 -

Second career win ... I was hoping she would gag on the par-5 18th to force a mass playoff, but no luck.
Miyuki Takeuchi (-3)
Hikari Tanabe finished 46th in q-school last December ... would she even be in a major if several Koreans were not under their beds? Now she has a career.
Na Ri Lee
Yuka Saso (-5) ... speaking of The Philippines, anyone know what happened to Her Royal Majesty Princess Mary Superal?

https://www.instagram.com/p/B2uzkLcFp84 Saki Nagamine kind of look like my KLPGA favorite golfer Hee Jeong Lim. I only got to watch about one hour and a half. Names are in English now and I haven't had time to watch it. Princess Mary Superal spent time on the Step Up Tour last year. I kept track of her Tournament scores, she didn't make a lot of cuts.

Just watched the highlight. Why was Hee-Kyung Bae trying to chip just over the fringe. She had a backstop and was chipping against the grain. Landing anywhere near the pin, would have given her a makeable par putt.
