Does the GIC know Yealimi is from the US? She’d be the first American since Paula Creamer to win ROY (2005).

There isn't a ROY race in 2020, it's been deferred to 2021. My point still stands! Clearly, they don't talk about ROY because there isn't one. As far as promotion of Yealimi, they (Grant Boone, Judy Rankin, Beth Ann Nichols, Dan Hicks) were fully prepared to hype her at the final round of USWO but she shot 80 to drop out of sight. Cream rises to the top, it's a matter of time.

There're more than 20 tournaments before Solheim Cup, Yealimi has enough time to qualify on merit. The goal should be to qualify for Olympics by entering Rolex Top-15, she's currently #48. She's less time for that.
