The traditional late March Step Up tour opener started this week and runs Aug. 18-19. A few of the players who got into the NEC Karuizawa are here and I count at least seven past big tour winners.
There's tons of TV for this for, but they'll only allow highlight reels on YouTube ... Round One:
0:17 - Miyu Goto 0:30 - Asako Fujimoto
0:48 - Yukari Nishiyama
1:46 - Kumiko Kaneda 1:57 - Kotone Hori 2:09 - Yumiko Yoshida

The 3rd hole at Fukuoka Country Club (Wajiro Course) ... this looks quite familiar, I think they have used this course for the big tour, too.

At least Kotone Hori won enough for a little pocket money. Also to help with her expenses. She still has a contract with Bridgestone, which is good. She is listed in the next JLPGA Tournament.
