It's kind of amazing that this event has already started and no one added a thread for it. Anyways, here it is. Good luck, Sisters! Danielle Kang really wants that #1 ranking. She shot an early 64 and is currently in the lead! Not having a tread for an LPGA event that doesn’t include most of the Korean stars is classic Seoulsisters. Lydia looks to be in better golfing shape. More muscle. Having Ko rolling again would be an interesting development. Agree Lydia looks stronger - last several years she's been looking so rail thin. Would give her a big boost of confidence to win this thing. Imagine both Ko's battling it out. Jin Young's got a big lead in Rolex - Kang has to stay really hot to catch her.

Once the slide started Lydia needed to figure out a process that worked for her game and her life. Maybe she’s finding it.
I love watching Ko get the ball in the hole so I’m hopeful.

Great leaderboard for the Sisters. Although it looks like it will be Ko's to lose, I'm hoping Minjee Lee can pull off a great run and win this thing. Sisters hwaiting!

Don’t you want to see Lydia get back on track and catch Se Ri and Inbee? That precisely HappyFan doesn't want to see. I don't know whether HappyFan is a fan of Se Ri, but I'm sure he doesn't want Lydia to surpass Inbee.

Well, my name is 'HappyFan'.... Se Ri's dog is called 'Happy'... So I guess you could say I'm a big fan of Se Ri Pak!
As for Lydia, I don't dislike her, but there are several players I find more interesting. Rather see her win than many other ladies, though.

In Gee's week is done. She finally broke par, although it was only a 70. OK stats, but the one that leaps out is 267 yards driving average, around 252 for the week. The parts are all there for her, she needs to connect the dots. Meanwhile, not a single Korean is in the top 30 as of right now. Ouch! Of course, there are three non-Korean Sisters atop the leaderboard, so that mitigates the sadness somewhat.

T9 -- You've got a plane to catch, Kelly. Pro Tip: Don't pack your passport in your golf bag, as a certain genius player did en route to the AIG last year.

What a complete fold by Lydia Ko. She played number eighteen from left of the green like a twenty handicapper. First why didn't she lay up with a one shot lead and thrust her wedge. The chance of staying on the green with a wood was zero to none. Still why play a bump and run on her third shot. When a lofted wedge to the middle of the green was a much better option. This lost had to hurt.
Danielle Kang should thank her for the Christmas present in August.

I didn't watch any of this today, but I'll have to check the lowlights ... it appears that The Old Ko choked on a seaweed roll at #18 and gave it away to DK.
UPDATE: SYFan just posted the explanation as I was posting my comment. Wow ... will Jason Hamilton get fired again?

A Kang and DJ win on the same day? Hidden geniuses.

Wow, what a complete chokeroo by Lydia. I like Danielle plenty, but if she gets to #1 because of this current limited field situation I will not be pleased. I think Jin Young still has some padding, though.

At least somebody won't be firing her caddie after this week.
I'm 99% certain that looper was NOT with Kelly at Valley Forge in 2018. She had a slimmer, younger guy with a beard at Raven's Claw GC where she stunk it up.
