This one runs June 25-28 at Fortune Hills CC (about 60km NE of downtown Seoul) with a field of 132, including Dr. Noh, HoJo, SW Bae, BML, Min Young Lee, Jae Eun Chung and Ye Won Lee (A). BC Card has only two staffers here, Jin Seon Han and The Hulk ... they were much higher profile ten years ago with Hye Youn Kim, Sky Kim and Sharon (below).

This's the weakest field of the five events since the restart. My hunch is Yealimi Noh is due for respectability; a Top-10 is in order.

For obvious reasons, this feels like a small tournament in the middle of nowhere. The pairings are out. Pairings

The practice round was cancelled due to an Amateur who played Friday tested positive for virus. The caddie she used tested negative. The regular Tournament will be played as scheduled.
(2nd LD) KLPGA practice round canceled after recent visitor tests positive for coronavirus SEOUL, June 24 (Yonhap) -- An official practice round for a South Korean women's golf tournament was canceled on Wednesday after the event organizers learned that a recent visitor to the competition venue tested positive for the novel coronavirus, though the actual tournament will begin as scheduled on Thursday.
The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour announced on Wednesday that the practice round for the BC Card Hankyung Ladies Cup at the Fortune Hills Country Club in Pocheon, some 45 kilometers north of Seoul, will not take place later in the day as scheduled.
The tour learned Tuesday afternoon that an amateur who played at the course last Friday tested positive for COVID-19, and it has been informed by health authorities that a course caddie had been in close contact with the amateur player.
The tournament organizers said later Wednesday that the caddie has tested negative, and the tournament will begin on schedule Thursday.
The tour said the entire course was sanitized Tuesday, and more disinfection work will be done Wednesday.
Though the practice round will not be rescheduled Wednesday, the event organizers allowed players and their caddies to walk the course for one final look before Thursday's opening round. The driving range and the practice green were also open.
After starting its season in Vietnam in December, the KLPGA Tour went on a five-month hiatus due to the coronavirus outbreak. The season resumed with the first major of the season, KLPGA Championship, on May 14.
The tour has since hosted four more tournaments, including last week's Korea Women's Open Golf Championship, the season's second major. All tournaments have been played without fans.

Must be some kind of delay, no scores posted yet. It is Monsoon season.

They started Round One delayed, only 18 players on the scoreboard so far. Dr. Noh is tied for 1st at -1 thru two holes ... enjoy it while it lasts.

The current KLPGA motto is 'Swing the World', which apparently includes no countries outside of Korea as Dr. Noh (-2 thru 16 holes) is being ignored in this broadcast. Three of her drives were over 270. *********** They just showed a bunch of highlights showing how Ji Hyun Kim got the lead at -4 ... .... with Ga Young Lee standing there watching it - WATCH & LEARN!

The good A Lim Kim showed up the first round. I wonder which one will show up the second round.
Hee Jeong Lim really needs to putt better. She hit a lot of greens, but doesn't end up with made birdie putts.
Hyun Kyung Park and Hyo Joo Kim do hit some good shots. But they also make a lot of fifteen and twenty foot putts.

Wow, reading Hojo's SS bio. She is picking up right where she left off in '14 when she swept KLPGA POY, money title and scoring average. Playing full time on the LPGA made her seem kind of ordinary. But no, she is actually fearsome. One of the best putters in the world.
