A few quick thoughts.
- What a great leaderboard. Three top 20 golfers in the top five, Lee6 and Hyo Joo lurking, Hye Jin Choi and Lim there, too.
- So Yeon has an interesting stat: IIRC she has never won a KLPGA Major or post season award. She has won a Japanese tour Major (the Japan Women's Open) and of course the two LPGA Majors, but not one of her nine (ten?) wins on the KLPGA is a Major.
- So Yeon did come close to winning this event in her rookie year. She had a four shot lead on the back nine and looked solid. Then Jiyai Shin, at the height of her dominance, made a run, caught her and forced a playoff, which she won in three holes.
- Ji Hyun Oh won this event two years ago. I think it was on this very course.

I think it was on this very course. You had to bring it up that So Yeon had a four shot lead over Jiyai Shin. I ignored that fact when I posted that she lost in a playoff. It was another one of those painful losses by So Yeon. I had help just following her progress on the Leader Board. I really thought that she would win, even thou Jyai was a top golfer. Edit: The person that beat her for Rookie of The Year He Yong Choi. Is on the Dream Tour now, go figure,

Yealimi Noh's Instagram really suffered because of her underwhelming performance this year; her fans have been unfollowing her left and right. The higher they rise, the harder they fall. At this tournament, she's been outplayed by her fellow rookie Hae Ran Rye. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBnaYZOlujH

DFL ... Soo Jin Yang's craziest outfits of all time became history years ago ... and now her game is history. I wasn't aware that she played the Dream Tour last year and had only two top-20 finishes.
Was this a charity endorsement from Honma?

So Hyeon is a fetching lady but her appearance makes me chuckle. I picture her running onto the field during baseball games and stealing kisses. I was never into the original Kissing Bandit's act. And neither were most of the players.

Round 3 Definitely a tougher day for the two leaders, and they made a couple of mistakes here and there, but by and large they hung in there and both shot under par. So Yeon and Ji Hyun will be joined tomorrow in the final group by Hyo Joo, who had a really strong moving day. Should be a real gas tomorrow! Sei Young, Jin Young and Hye Jin are also close enough to make something happen. Sisters Hwaiting!!! 1 So Yeon Ryu -12 66-67-71 204 2 Ji Hyun Oh -11 68-66-71 205 3 Hyo Joo Kim -9 70-69-68 207 4 Hye Jin Choi -7 69-69-71 209 - Chae Yoon Park -7 72-71-66 209 6 Jin Young Ko -6 65-72-73 210 - Sei Young Kim -6 68-69-73 210 - Hae Rym Kim -6 70-67-73 210 9 Min Young Lee -4 66-75-71 212 - Hee Jeong Lim -4 68-72-72 212 - Ji Young Park -4 69-71-72 212 - Ayean Cho -4 70-73-69 212 - Yeon Jung Seo -4 73-65-74 212 - Hae Ran Ryu (R) -4 73-69-70 212 Notables: 15 Jin Seon Han -3 70-71-72 213 - Han Sol Ji -3 70-71-72 213 - Jeongeun Lee6 -3 71-69-73 213 20 Song Yi Ahn -2 70-69-75 214 - Hyun Kyung Park -2 72-71-71 214 27 Yealimi Noh -1 72-74-69 215 - Bo Mee Lee -1 73-72-70 215 31 Eun Soo Jang Even 69-74-73 216 - So Young Lee Even 69-74-73 216 - Seon Woo Bae Even 70-72-74 216 - Eun Hee Ji Even 71-72-73 216 40 So Mi Lee +1 71-73-73 217 47 Ga Young Lee +2 70-74-74 218 51 Gyeol Park +3 73-71-75 219 - Da Yeon Lee +3 73-70-76 219 63 Cecilia Cho +5 74-72-75 221 75 Min Sun Kim +10 72-72-82 226 76 A Lim Kim +14 74-72-84 230 So Yeon Ryu Ji Hyun Oh Jin Young Ko Sei Young Kim Jeongeun Lee6 Ji Won Shin Ga Young Lee w/ Ree An Kim Eun Hee Ji So Mi Lee Seon Woo Bae Bo Mee Lee Eun Soo Jang Rookie Hye Lim Jo Yealimi Noh Song Yi Ahn Hee Jeong Lim Ayean Cho Hyun Kyung Park Gyeol Park Han Sol Ji Jin Seon Han Min Sun Kim Hae Ran Ryu Da Been Heo Waitaminnit... A tidy 69 moved Yealimi Noh up the ladder!

So Yeon had a decent third round and still is in first place, a plus. This is her first Tournament in about five months. A man falling from a tenth floor building, being an optimist. As he passed each floor he was heard saying "so far so good".
Hee Jeong Lim had a good start but made bogey on seventeen and eighteen. Have to remember that she is a twenty year old second year player.

KLPGA Instagram. Ayean had a tidy 69 on Saturday. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBpfcmFFo87 https://www.instagram.com/p/CBpeGwjFJkY I'm loving this tournament so far! The ladies are playing really well, the cream is rising to the top, and some of my very faves are in contention or getting a lot of screen time. There are even a few holes where you hear cheering! (from the houses lining the fairway). Here's hoping So Yeon and Ji Hyun close this event out well with a great Sunday! Go Sisters!!
