Undisputed Notable Six couldn't buy a putt today.
The English telecast seems to be gaining a following. It appears that in addition to CBC Canada, Sky Sports and Fox Sports are also carrying it in certain countries. Maybe Se Ri will pop into the English commentary box for a little analysis later on.
**********************
It's not in English, but SBS Golf is doing something interesting on their YouTube channel...a live behind-the-scenes simulcast of their Golf Academy show, which is hosted by two guys and two gals. It's the same show you can watch on AQStream, but from the perspective of a guy roaming the studio with a handheld camera. The camera stays in the studio during the commercial breaks and you can see the hosts joking with each other, getting makeup touchups and getting ready for their next segments. Since it's a late night show (in Korea) they're all pretty loose. It seems to be airing around 8:30am - 9:30am ET Monday thru Thursday. There's no warning before the stream pops up on the channel and it's immediately deleted after it airs so there's no archived copy to watch later. It can only be seen when it's live.

Apparently, SY Ryu can make putts only in Korea or Japan. ********** Being in Incheon, I expected to see the concrete forest landscape surrounding the golf course. But, check out the "buildings" that line the 4th hole ... a bunch of ill-fitting Lego blocks jammed together by Foster Brooks in a stupor ... well, maybe they look nice on the inside. ********** Speaking of poor design, is it possible that The New Ko is wearing her skort backwards? ********** Really impressed how Penguin Princess is driving the ball ... this is 2017 Bedminster quality. But, ugh and double-ugh, why is she playing with a mask on? More hideous architecture on the left side of the par-5 6th hole as she hit her second shot. ********** Ryu just dropped another bomb on these minor league greens, now -5 thru 7 holes. At least they have a few tucked pin positions on the front nine. ********** I think they showed Dr. Noh only once so far ... she opened with eight pars on the front side.

Round 1 Jin Young and So Yeon looked so strong today. They each had a few short birdies they left out there. Ji Hyun Oh was long, super accurate (hit almost every fairway) and could easily have been three or four shots lower herself. Good first round for So Yeon Ru and Jin Young Ko. I only saw So Yeon front nine, so I guess the birdies stopped on the back. Also good first round for Hee Jeong Lim. Had eight birdies but four bogeys.
Min Young2 Lee impressed with minus six on her first Tournament this year.
Jeongeun Lee6 had so many birdie chances. She just couldn't seem to make them. Some were really good putts, but she also putted a few threw the break.

I only watched the English language broadcast, so I'll get my first chance to see the morning wave ladies tonight...
So Yeon barely missed so many putts that it became a bit of a joke for the broadcasters: 'I know we sound like a broken record, but another good birdie chance for So Yeon Ryu'. 66 was about the worst score she was going to get given how she was playing.

It looks like Yealimi Noh is taller than Min Sun Kim 5; even though Kim is already 175 cm (5'9").

Nice to see So Yeon leading after two rounds - and nice that she's playing period.
Does anyone here know how eligibility works on the klpga? Do these most of the Korean lpga players have permanent eligibility? Sei Young and Hyo Joo seem to be playing every week, and it's been a while since they played on the Korean tour. Or are they all on sponsor invites?
Fun to have the English broadcasts - but also been watching the SBS Korean coverage (good timings here in Singapore - only one hour difference from Korea).

Round 2 So Yeon Ryu and Ji Hyun Oh continued on their torrid paces. I actually watched a little of the early action this time. Ryu started well, then gutted out two lengthy par saves to end her round. Oh then made a big move to come from way back to within one shot. She looked like she was having a ball out there. Fricking SBS pulled the round 2 feed when the last group was on the 14th hole. I was watching about an hour delayed. They coulda kept it up there a little longer. Great leaderboard, with a number of LPGA stars in position and some top KLPGAers up there as well. Yealimi Noh may be a rookie, but she's a veteran at surviving the cut. Just like at the 2020 Vic Open, she shot a terrible round in the morning but watched tougher afternoon condition moving her into the cutline.

So Hyeon is a fetching lady but her appearance makes me chuckle. I picture her running onto the field during baseball games and stealing kisses.

Another really good round for So Yeon. Was great to see her make those long par saves on seventeen and eighteen. Usually when she has those putts they just miss short of the hole or lip out. Nice that the went in this time.
Miss Oh played great on the back nine. She was hitting her approach shots close, not just making long putts.
Mighty Mite, Seung Yeon Lee had a tough day at the Office.
