This one put me to sleep as Winbee made the turn to the back nine ... just woke up around 3:30 AM to confirm the expected result ... I didn't know Iron Cho was gonna turn into Min Sun Kim 5 and start launching UFOs all over the joint.
BTW, for about an hour I turned off the sound and listened to this, which was a lot more interesting:
BC (against) completely eviscerated Diaz (for) on the issue of rolling back the golf ball. Not only that, he trashed the concept of approach shot "angle" (25:00 thru 29:00), which you always here as being important from these broadcasters ... but, he analyzed a whole year's data from the PGA Tour and the assumed "optimal" angle lead to higher scores. Wouldn't it be great to have ShotLink on the LPGA tour? Where is the alleged partnership between the men's and women's tour?
*********
T-6 is MHL's best finish since the 2019 Scottish Open ... ugh, what a time to take an unplanned vacation.
Lucky 6 had nothing after Thursday, quite strange ... maybe she needs to go MAVRIK.

Round 4 QUEEN BEE grabs #20 in 2020!Boy, it took nearly two years, but Inbee finally got it all together at the right time and scored her 20th career victory. Today was hardly the most scintillating stuff; Inbee, like almost everyone, made mistakes out there. But unlike her other struggles in final rounds, it was more the wind than her game that made it tough. And almost every time she needed it, there was her putting. Boy, did I miss watching her dump putt after putt into the hole. There were at least three lengthy par saves today, probably the difference in her win. Ayean had another tough final round. It felt more like a slow leak than an implosion, so a bit of an improvement over Vic. Still, she had far too many loose shots and missed too many short putts today. This could have easily been even par if she could eliminate the slop. Give her credit; she saved her best for last, nearly holing out and tapping in for a t-6th, her career best. Upward next time! Not much else to celebrate. So Yeon imploded, dropping down to 31st. Lee6 had her third straight 74. Not a bad round this week but only one good one. Mi Hyang Lee and Christina Kim hung in there for decent days. Hee Jeong Lim managed an under par day, but Yealimi Noh had a 77. Congrats, Inbee! Hwaiting!!!! PS - Loved seeing Jiyai, So Yeon, Lee6, et. al., soak Inbee on the green. Then Ryu fed her friend a shot of champagne.

I struggle with Brandel because he keeps changing his position on the golf ball. It’s interesting that the data is telling professional golfers that angles don’t matter but it makes sense when they can hit the sweet spot of a gap wedge and land the ball on a sponge green. They need to rerun the data on only firm courses and get back to me.

Inbee actually drinking from the spray bottle shows everyone how it’s done.

KT didn't have the final round she hoped for, but at least she finished ahead of her bitter rival Dr. Noh. This article says she'll be teeing it up next at the Founders, but I read elsewhere she'll defend her title at the Florida's Natural on 3/6. Who knows? The LPGA intern hasn't posted anything about 2020 events on the Symetra site. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8nmkbRl-ft

Congratulation to Inbee Park for her win. A little worry after she made bogey on fifteen and sixteen. Then hit a poor lag putt for eagle on seventeen. But she made the birdie and the rest is history.
I was really hoping that So Yeon would at least get her second top ten. It didn't happen but it was her only over par round in two tournaments. Still a better start than last year, looking forward to following her at Founders Cup.
Ayean Cho a learning experience and wind, she will be just fine.
Jeongeun Lee6 had another subpar putting day of thirty three putts. She did have three early birdies, before the high wind. Her ball striking was pretty good.

Congrats to Inbee.. Do we have WITB for Inbee that's current?
Looks to be Srixon, but I like to know what model driver/shaft she's using.. She's not a long hitter, but she was keeping up with younger players..

The instagram golf swing video's are great. The notion that the average male could learn something from watching the LPGA stars is absurd. They are ball-striking freak shows.

"My country -- I'm very careful to say what I'm gonna say because we have so many great players out here. If you're not in the Top 10 -- like if you haven't won in a few months -- people just so easily forget...when you're in this position it's so tough. People start not recognizing your name, they don't talk about what you've done. You sort of feel like "am I useless? Am I not really good at what I'm doing?" "And then all of a sudden you're looking at a 19 year-old girl who's a rookie on tour and she's like shooting a 62 or whatever. I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm useless." I can buy that … NYC said she was called a "loser" when she didn't win in 2013-14. I was just reading an obituary for Mickey Wright, who died today at age 85. I noticed the following quote, which sounds strikingly similar to So Yeon's comments a few days ago. “The pressure of the press can be very brutal,” Wright said. “If you don’t win, if you come in second or third, there are comments such as, 'What happened to you? Is your game falling apart? Are you over the hill?' This bothered me very much and for a time made me very cynical, which was a trait I did not like in myself.”The pressure is always there, even for someone who won 82 tournaments, 13 of them majors. www.golfchannel.com/news/mickey-wright-13-time-womens-major-champion-dies-age-85
