Great start for Yui Kawamoto with a top ten on her first Rookie Tournament.
Too bad that In Gee Chun could not manage another good round. She got to five under on the front nine, but shot four over on the back nine. Her driving dropped back down to 228 yards. I really hope that she can improve, because she is a really nice person.
By the way hoping for a better year for So Yeon, also a really great person.

Round 4
What a meh start to the season. I just couldn't bring myself to watch this one. We now have had two journeyman winners in a row. None of the Sisters did much this week except Sei Young, and even she was far from her best. In Gee continues to struggle. Not enough Yealimi coverage; yes, it wasn't a good week for her, but she was still a lot better than Fassi, whom they couldn't overcover enough.
Oh well, hopefully things will get better Down Under. Hwaiting!

Strange season so far. Who would have picked Gabby and Madelene? Nasa, Sei, and Danielle all played two really good tournaments and with a bit of luck could have been holding at least one trophy. On another note, am I the only one who thinks that we could use some changes in the booth at GC? Rankin is a very nice person but her time has passed. Her call on Fassi's 73 (1 over par) was unwatchable. You would have thought she shot 63. She shot 82 the day before. Who couldn't improve on that? And while I am venting, put Stupples back on the course and let her cover some holes from there. Not sure who wants the job in the booth, but it is sad when the guest players are more listenable then the so called proffessionals. When Madelene Sagstrom made her par on eighteen. I had a feeling that Nasa would miss her putt. Emotion plays a big part in golf sometimes. Judy's always had her favorites and given them the benefit of every doubt. But at least when she's making excuses for Karrie Webb, it's for a Hall of Famer. It's more glaring when she does it for a struggling second year player.

Today's Star-Ledger sports section had all the final scores from the PGA Tour Farmer Insurance event ... and three paragraphs on some guy winning on the Euro PGA tour ... and zilch, zippo regarding the LPGA.
**********
You'd think a T-8 for Yui's rookie debut would have shaken up the home folks ... but no, her IG follower count is at 51.2 K, just an increase of 1,100 since Thursday.
**********
T-58, harrumph ... I wish she had skipped this one and scheduled herself for the Vic Open instead.
Looks like Mozo still has a job ... strange to see him wearing a KB Star bucket hat ... he wasn't even on MHL's bag when KB Star dumped her after the 2017 season.
