It's that time of year again! Once again I've spent way too much time compiling my awards for the best (and sometimes worst) stuff that happened in 2019. There'll be six parts, with a new part every day. I'll do the first two parts this week, take the weekend off, then get to the next four next week. Enjoy! 2019 SeoulSisters Awards (1 of 6): Best Start, Disappearing Act, Best Korean Confrontation2019 Seoul Sisters Awards (2 of 6): Cinderella, Best Breakthrough, Great Performance that Came Up Short, Clutch Performance, Biggest Bummer, Most Dominating2019 Seoul Sisters Awards (3 of 6): Most Fashionable, Best Playoff, Shot of the Year, Best Hole2019 Seoul Sisters Awards (4 of 6): Round of the Year, Biggest Controversy, Biggest Diss, Most Touching Moments2019 Seoul Sisters Awards (5 of 6): Best Amateur, Best Hot Streak, Best Tradition, Rookie to Watch in 2020, It's About Time2019 Seoul Sisters Awards (6 of 6): Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, Player of the Year

To be honest So Yeon game started a downward trend toward the last part of twenty seventeen. She got off to a great start of the year after the swing change, but didn't have a good finish. The swing change may not have anything to do with her play lately. However before the change she was always near the top in GIR and Top tens. Her driving distance and accuracy were also above average. Her main problem was not making the clutch putts when needed. Just an observation after watching her since she turned professional.
I was wondering how Hae Ran Rue was listed as a Rookie this year. I guess the KLPGA has a (red shirt) for golfers. Unless she played as a non member last year. Where if they play a certain number of tournaments their first year. They don't count as a Rookie year.

Hye Jin Choi did the same thing as Hae Ran Ryu: she won twice as an amateur, then joined the KLPGA for the last three months in 2017 after turning pro. But her rookie year was 2018 despite those extra tournaments she played before that.

I can hardly find the words to comment on how much great information you wrote. So I wont try, but say all in all it was tremendous.

I agree with all of Happyfan's takes on the year. Incidentally this is also the most exhaustive recap of the general 2019 LPGA season I've seen anywhere.
