I lost the broadcast soon after In Gee won. I left the broadcast and came back and could not get it again. Did they stop. Anyway great round by In Gee, I too thought it would be closer. I wonder if those greens are as smooth as they look. Even I and So Yeon could make putts on those greens. Kidding!

I wonder if those greens are as smooth as they look. Those greens do look sweet. Any one know?....I guessing the majority of S. Korean courses have poa anna greens and blue grass/rye fairways/rough.

I'm glad In Gee and Char Young made it to the final 4. I'm disappointed they don't show more of when In Gee interacts with her Flying Dumbo fans. I want to get a Flying Dumbo cap....I'm sure the TV camera's would pan in on me at the CP CWO....Judy Rankin would say..."WTF....what the heck is The Smiling Buddha wearing on his head" Maybe I just need to create my own..."The Rocket" caps.....anyone interested?

The finals are set: In Gee Chun beat Song Yi Ahn in a close match 1 up, and Han Sul Ji came from behind to beat Char Young Kim, also 1 up. In the Kim-Ji match, Kim was 3 down at the turn, but won four straight holes starting at the 12th to go to one up. However, she lost the final two holes to lose. In Gee won holes 12 and 13 to take a one up lead, and they squared all the remaining holes after that.

That jingle to the commercial for "No 1...KLPGA" must be a common song/tune in S. Korea. A Korean lady I use to play golf with....sadly she moved back to Korea....was singing the same tune when we watched a S. Korean World Cup game last year.

The coverage/stream must be on a delay.....right after the semi's they went straight to the 3rd hole to show an ace by In Gee....The Flying Dumbo fans were going nuts.
There must be a promo at the front gate....fill in an BC Card application and receive a free Doosan umbrella....lol.
Hmmm....lots of fans walking the course to follow the action......36 holes. Yet when Aza won the 2012 Sybase match play I think there were only 15 people following...including TonyJ getting in there to congrat Aza to get on TV....lol.
Phil were you there or did you have to leave early to check out of your flea bag motel?....lol

Final Round
The final match featured In Gee Chun vs. rookie Han Sul Ji In Gee Chun got off to a hot start, winning the first hole, then following that up with a hole in one (!) on the third to win there as well. They made the turn with In Gee clinging to a one up lead. On the tenth they both got close, but only In Gee made birdie. She won 11 as well, but Ji fought back by winning 12 to move to two down. On the 14th hole, In Gee put her approach to within five and drained the birdie to move 3 up. On the next hole she had a birdie try that would have won her the match there and then, but just missed. Still, she was now dormie and seemed to have things well in hand. Not so fast! She hit a terrible tee shot on the par 3 16th and a worse chip. She made bogey there, but it didn't matter, for Ji made birdie from about fifteen feet. Ji won the next hole as well after striping her approach to about two feet. Amazingly, it was all coming down to the final hole. Chun left her approach on the par 5 18th just short of the green, and left her birdie try one roll short. Ji now had about a ten footer to tie the match. But finally Ji was not able to deliver, and In Gee squeaked by with a 1 up victory, her second of 2015. It took a lot of luck and a lot of skill, but In Gee managed to make it through the long week and get the win. Congrats to her! In the consolation match, Song Yi Ahn beat Char Young Kim 3 & 2. In Gee got soaked by all her Flying Dumbo fans....so will we soon hear "Mashed Potatoes" on the KLPGA too?
The KLPGA is too funny. I watched the awards ceremony....it's so funny watching the two women in suits pointing to wear everyone should stand. And how about the awards for "Best Manner" (an award Crusty Kerr would never win if the LPGA adopted this award), "Best Dressed'...and I can't remember the other award.....maybe "Most Photogenic"?

Congratulation to In Gee. A very good match. I know Char Young's was a consolation match, but I wish they had shown more of it. I have not seen much of her game.

mr3putt:
I’ve never attended the 3rd or 4th day of any past LPGA Match Plays. After examining my reports archive, here are the ones I’ve attended (all at Hamilton Farm GC):
2005, 2006, 2010, 2012 – Day 1 2011 – Day 1 and Day 2
The Gladstone NJ location was close enough to sleep in my own bed. Also, this part of the state is way too swanky to have a Motel 6 or a motel anything.
