Despite her win at the BMW Championship, Ha Na has decided to stay on the KLPGA next year. Here are more details: Popular Winner Takes a PassOK, we won't have Ha Na most weeks, so here's a little dance to remember her by. This was from the 2017 ING Champions:

Not surprising at all. It's still early but I think the LPGA might have some troubles ahead. Already it's fair to say that the LPGA is no longer the exclusive domain of the best players in the world, when you consider all the LPGA-caliber players in Korea and Japan. Jiyai Shin was a pioneer. Back when she left the LPGA it was kind of shocking, i.e. a top player sacrificing so much opportunity. Doesn't seem quite the same now. I know LPGA prize money is still tops but there have to be numerous big advantages to staying home.
For Ha Na, looking at her instagram I wonder how big of a factor food is. She enjoys Korean cuisine to the fullest. Having to travel through the belly of the USA probably cramped her style. I think she really enjoys her social life and Korea in general. Would've been great for us remaining LPGA fans if she came back, but I feel glad for her.
