Day three
Wow, this one turned out to be a dominating win for the KLPGA! The LPGA claimed just four single wins, the KLPGA 7, with one tie. Congratulations to the KLPGA for their second win in five tries at this event!
Final Score: LPGA 9 KLPGA 15
Lydia Ko 3 & 2 over Cecilia Cho Jenny Shin lost 3 & 1 to Ji Hyun Kim Danielle Kang lost 2 & 1 to Ha Na Jang Jeongeun Lee6 won 5 & 4 over Ayean Cho
Amy Yang lost 1 up to Min Ji Park Eun Hee Ji won 1 up over Ji Young Kim So Yeon Ryu lost 4 & 2 to A Lim Kim MJ Hur lost 3 & 2 to Chae Yoon Park
Mi Hyang Lee lost 3 & 2 to Da Yeon Lee Hyo Joo Kim AS Ye Rim Choi Minjee Lee lost 2 & 1 to Hee Jeong Lim Jin Young Ko won 5 & 3 over Hye Jin Choi
Jin Young and Six won their matches easily, but the LPGA lost what I pegged as all their other essential matches: Danielle Kang to Ha Na Jang, Minjee Lee to Lim, and three of the four middle matches. The So Yeon Ryu loss was particularly painful.
Congrats to the KLPGA, it will be interesting to see how the LPGA responds next year!

Sports top ten searches right now in Korea:
1. Bo Mee Lee 2. Seon Woo Bae 3. A Lim Kim 5. Ha Na Jang 6. klpga 7. Hyo Joo Kim 8. Inbee Park 10. Jiyai Shin
This is for ALL sports in Korea right now. INSANE. 8 of the top ten search terms are for women's golf. Let that sink in for a moment.

Unlike Winbee, Ryu and both Kos, MHL did not bring her regular tour looper over for this one. After the way she finished the year, Jesus Mozo's days are probably numbered. She's had him for roughly 15 months, which is about the same time she had Cheeseburger Chad before Mozo. Ivan Galdame, Old Mike Carrick and Andrew Tschudin were with her for much shorter periods.

A big congratulation to the KLPGA Team. Another back nine rally. They keep losing their Stars but keep fighting.
Jin Young Ko and Jeongeun Lee6 dominating wins. Showed why they were ..Player of The Year and Rookie Of The Year. I wish that So Yeon Ryu had also won. Then my three favorite players and favorite team would of won.

Kind glad KLPGA won - I do love lots of the LPGA players, but was rooting for the underdogs. Gotta try to attend this event next year!
On A Lim Kim: followed her for about 9 holes at BMW Busan on Friday morning this year. She was playing with Angel Yin and Jessica Korda, and was consistently out-driving both of them!

Mike Whan has to be aware of this event, right? If so I wonder what's his feeling about it. The evil empire must weigh heavily on his mind. I imagine he both hates and loves the Korea situation.
Judging by the players' social media they seemed to really enjoy themselves, no matter that the grass was brown, or that they were bundled up head to toe.

I just realized that the first match pitted two long time friends against each other. Cecilia Cho had grown up in New Zealand and was the #1 amateur in the world until younger Lydia Ko came along and usurped her. I bet they enjoyed playing together, although Cecilia is probably still intimidated by Lydia a bit, which probably helped Lydia get the win.
