I appreciate thats she’s going to all the trouble of adding subtitles. Not that I don’t speak Korean, of course.

According to an article I read, she simply shoots the footage, then gives it to a team of people to edit, add music and subtitles. So, more professional than the LPGA website is what I'm saying.

This vlog is a blast: Jin Young goes to a soccer game, then later has dinner with one of the players. It's interesting that she still isn't all that recognized in Korea, although she does get noticed by one fan. It's also hilarious to watch her go through every emotion as she watches, and the interesting metaphor she employs to describe her frustration at one point (I'll let you discover that one yourself, it cracked me up!).

I thought football soccer was the "world" game. That stadium (in Seoul!) looked 85% empty. Now you know why it's tough to look up stuff on The Mini Rocket ... because a legendary footballer has the same name (Park Ju Young). I'm reminded of MHL's devotion to the Incheon-based SK Wyverns baseball team. Having the LPGA playing in Busan instead of Incheon is definitely inconvenient now ... but, it doesn't matter this year as SK got eliminated in the playoffs, although they finished the season tied for first in the standings. The Korean Series started today with the Doosan Bears beating the Kiwoom Heroes in Game 1. Both teams have two Anglo players ... maybe that's the league limit.

Great stuff. Jin Young is charming and telegenic on "tv". I thought I was maybe seeing some chemistry between her and soccer oppa. But alas, he is both married and a man of God.
These videos also make quite a good tool for English speakers trying to learn conversational Korean.

Another good one: Jin Young visits the home of the original Hite Girl, Hee Kyung Seo! Really cool to see those two stars hanging out, having dinner and playing with Seo's three sons!

World's #1 on the radio in her latest vlog posting! Wow, is this one really an hour long? [EDIT]: Yup, it's actually just a post of her complete appearance on the show, no subtitles. Ah well, you can practice your Korean if you're interested!
