It starts today on two courses for 185 players and ends on Thursday. There is no cut, so anyone completing 72 holes earns Symetra Tour status...woo hoo! The LPGA website leaderboard will track the scores. At least 30 players will advance to the Q-Series - I haven't found an exact number anywhere. FYI - Lucy Li, Mohan Du, Min A Yoon and Yae Eun Hong are too young to play the Q-Series this year.

Q-Series has a maximum field of 108 players. There will be 48 spots available in Q-Series for Stage II qualifiers. There are 37 LPGA players ranked 101 - 150 entered, 22 Symetra players ranked 11 - 35 entered, and Yui Kamamoto from the World Top 75.

RLB (currently T8, playing on Bobcat) and Dr. Noh (currently T26, playing on Panther) have both completed their rounds. The Top 6 are currently from the Bobcat course, that seems to be playing easier than Panther. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3kf1o2FXWu

I think you misread the scoreboard, Kyoko finished at 73, +1. Yui is high enough on the Rolex Rankings to go directly to the Q-Series.

The online leaderboard now says the top-30 plus ties will advance ... probably more than a coincidence that Andrea Lee, Jennifer Chang and Frida Kinhult kicked it into high gear this AM.
All four of the underage babies are within the cut line ... if they stay there and can't go to the Q-series, will they add more qualifiers to account for this?
I didn't go to this year's Valley Forge Symetra event, but it may be worth going next year to see a lot of new faces.

I sure wish one of these rich Corporations will sponsor another Symetra Tour tournament here. I went to the last one and followed Hannah O'Sullivan when she won. For her those were the days, not so much now.
Ok, wishful thinking they couldn't get them to sponsor a LPGA Tournament.

It's looking like they're going with a minimum of 30 and ties, up[ to a maximum of 48. I don't quite know why they wouldn't simply go with 48, and have a playoff if there were more than 48 (with ties).

Yes, it seems the LPGA office doesn't know the word "simply" ... reminds me of the conversation at the Seaview between Ree, Reto and Clanton on how each of them got access to this year's ShopRite/Acer ... per Reto, "They make it so confusing".
Looks like Dr. Noh heard about having to park your car up the street and lugging your bag to Raven's Claw GC if you had a late tee time .... no Symetra Tour for her, she kicked it into high gear with a 65. The cream rose to the top in the last two days. However, barring a blistering finish on the last six holes, Yuko Saso will fall short. If so, she'll have a lot to think about ... do I play the Symetra tour, the JLPGA (big tour or Step Up tour) or go to U. of Georgia?
Back to the $1 hamburger circuit for Harang Lee.

The cut line is moving all over the place ... it had as many as 48 players earlier, but now it's 39 and now it's top-40. RLB is one shot over line at -3, but she deserves to get in since the baby ams ahead of her can't advance beyond Stage 2.

It looks like Eun Jeong Seong isn't getting any closer to the LPGA. I guess length along will just get you OOOS and AHS. With that being said, I thought that she would be a lot closer. If not already a Member.

Happy to see Yaelimi Noh shoot a clutch 65 to zoom from T57 to T10 and make it to Q-series. After being a few holes away from a place, it would be devastating if she gets done in by Q-Series.
RLB dropped to T41 just outside of the qualifying position. It is my undersdtanding that Q-Series would be a total of 108 players, so should anyone withdraw between now and then she may have a shot into getting in.
On the flip side Lucy Li went T10 to T72. Being too young for Q-series, this will still get her a spot somewhere on the Symetra tour for next season.

RLB is one shot over line at -3, but she deserves to get in since the baby ams ahead of her can't advance beyond Stage 2. That would make too much sense. Which is why the LPGA probably won't do it. If they do, RLB should be first in line. Among the players who missed the cut by one, she had the best final round score (-4). That Canadian magazine profile a couple months back mentioned that she was often just one over the cutline back in her playing days. More recently, she missed by one at that Canadian men's event. If the LPGA gods don't gift her with an entry to Q Series tonight, I don't see her slogging on the Symetra next year...she's a little long in the tooth to start from scratch again. On the LPGA, 27 is practically a senior citizen. Hey, she'll always have the red carpet.
