DK with Man Bun won last year's inaugural event in front of crickets and return to defend, Oct. 17-20. The LPGA posted a field of 62 players and will add 15 CLPGAers and 4 sponsor invites later. Muni He, Simin Feng, Ruixin Liu, Xiang Sui and the Shi sisters are possible candidates for a free pass. Weiwei Zhang and Wenbo Liu will be busy at LPGA q-school. GC will carry each round at 2 AM thru 4 AM. Oh, and here's what MHL said in her latest IG post: I'm going to work hard to clean up what I've been missing for the past two weeks this week and prepare for the Asian swing! She had 23 birdies last year.

The field is set at 81 ... the four sponsor invites are two Chinese amateurs, The Pink One and NYC (heartthrob of the Sinosphere). The 15 CLPGAers include Xiang Sui, Yifan Ji, Yuting Shi and Yuli Shi (who bombed out of the JLPGA Pro Test this week).

GC's 2am ET airtime is on a 3-hour delay all four days. The livestream will begin at 11pm ET each day. **EDIT**Disregard the above. GC updated their streaming schedule and it now shows both the broadcast & the stream starting at 2am ET. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2S-1nGl5LG

One of the funnier moments at last year's event. I assume Ollie thought Danielle couldn't clear a fairway bunker, and thought wrong.

Grace is shown here in the first Instagram post with Seoul Brother #1, KJ Choi. She's sporting a media credential, but even though SBS Golf has the local rights to the PGA Tour she's probably not representing them. The second post references a reality series she's hosting on tvN and Grace is shown with the young golfers she's mentoring on that show as they check out the scene at Nine Bridges.https://www.instagram.com/p/B3quSESFjjs https://www.instagram.com/p/B3qt5QjFKr1 Kevin

Kevin gave us the official reason.
The real reason: Based on the tee times, I'm guessing it will be a tape-delayed broadcast. This will allow Mike Ritz in Orlando, with his eyelids pinned up by Scotch tape, to punch the nuclear mute button ahead of time whenever the camera switches to DK.

Just re-checked the streaming schedule now and it's changed again! Those dizzy lovebirds Stupples & Foltz must be in charge of posting the streaming schedule. It's now showing two streams each day, one at 11pm ET (I'm assuming live) and another at 2am ET (I'm sure the delayed simulcast).

It looks like those gals are starring in a reboot of the 60's TV classic, "The Time Tunnel." Awesome.

Round 1 Not the most dazzling performance by Lucky Six or Jin Young, but a nice final putt by Six, and Jin Young hung in there well enough. They'll be playing together on day two; I hope we get to see them on the coverage! Amy was great; she really loves playing in Asia, where she has made all her career wins. Perhaps again? Sisters hwaiting!

I haven't watched any of this so far ... for fun, I'll see if I can get a stream from a Chinese channel tonight:
For family bragging rights, Mini Ting Ting (+6) is ahead of ....
...Ting Ting (+10)
Looks like someone unscrewed Ariya 51's valve stem.
The black bag in front of MHL is Sharpy's and they'll be together again on Saturday.

Round 2 Not a lot of steam in this event so far. It's always a bit dead for me when Henderson is up near the lead. Lee 6 and Jin Young played together, and they both improved on Thursday. Lee was actually not bad with a 68, but she still has a lot of work to do tomorrow to put herself into this one. Jin Young is doing OK, but I'm guessing the energy is low after her great win last week. Hopefully she can work out the kinks and be ready for next week. The most important thing is to score reasonably well so she can maintain her Vare lead and keep herself under 69 if possible. Amy and Sei Young could also do something here. It was an off day for Amy, but still only five back. Sisters hwaiting!
