Jin Young is all class. How great was that that, walking the fairway to applause, Jin Young motioned back to Brooke to come up and join her so they could walk arm-in-arm to the green. So Jin Young ignored Brooke Larson who played probably her best tournament ever. I know Henderson is from Canada, but she didn't put the tournament on. It's ok to wanting to be liked, but that is a little much.

Now for what really matter is congratulation to Jin Young for the awesome win. It has to go up there with one of the best tournament wins of all time. I think they said that it was the first time in sixty years or tournaments. That anyone has been bogey free for seventy two holes. Now that she is getting more familiar with these greens. Her putting has started to catch up with her great ball striking.
Listening to the Announcers, I don't think they wanted Annie Park on the Solheim team. I know one thing she will not be a Captain pick. I don't think Amy Olson finished low enough to pass Annie in Rolex Ranking. If she does Inkster will go out and celebrate..

A master class in Getting It Done by Professor Jin Young Ko. On the (very) rare occasions she hit a wayward shot, her follow-up shots were true. Enough so to go without one bogey for the whole tournament. Big up!

It's ok to wanting to be liked, but that is a little much. That's not how I saw it. The camera was following Jin Young walking down the fairway to applause. Jin Young looked immediately behind and saw Brooke smiling and applauding her (Judy said they're good friends). Jin Young motioned to Brooke to come up to join her. The camera didn't show Nicole anywhere nearby. I thought it was a classy move but we're each entitled to our own readout.

My hats off to players like Broch Larsen. She has struggled to get even top tens on the LPGA Tour. She found herself paired with the number one player and the fan favorite. But she hung in there and played hard. Yet if it wasn't for Jin Young great play, she had a chance to win. So I think that she was disrespected. Bottom line she will get the second place check, respected or not.

Talk about disrespect... Brooke gets a crowded press conference. The winner gets 90 seconds with Amy Rogers with crickets chirping in the background.
"It was fun to walk up with her and hear the cheers and realize that it was a great week."

Not including the Dow team event, Jin Young has had nine final rounds in the 60's this season, including five at 67 or better. Brooke has had four final rounds in the 60's, and one at 67 or better. She hasn't had a final round in the 60's since May. She had an incredible 3rd round, but I think she's going to have a real battle on her hands tomorrow. Jin Young simply doesn't make mistakes. Actually, even if you include the Dow. Remember, she had a 58 there! Even better than in the sixties!

Round 4 Jin Young Ko SUPERSTAR strikes again. Phenomenal.
Absolutely spectacular performance all week, and she saved the best for last. Just when it looked like she was in for a fight, she kicked it into another gear and left her opponents gasping for air. No joke, this was one of the greatest weeks of golf I have ever seen from a Korean golfer, and that takes in a LOT of ground. Let's see, where do we start? 64 in the final round ties the best round of the week. Her 72 hole total beat the all time Canadian Women's Open record by three shots. She's the first #1 to win a tournament while #1 since 2017, believe it or not. Oh yeah, and she didn't have any bogies all week; her streak is now 106 straight holes without a bogey, which is beyond crazy. Has her boy toy Koepka ever managed that? And she did that without a practice round, without her caddie until Wednesday, and with having played only nine holes once in the pro-am. AND, she is only the third Korean to ever win four events in a single season; only Se Ri and Inbee have done it. AND, her season money total now has eclipsed Inbee for the all time highest ever achieved by a Korean (if you count old Ko, she is still second, however, but for how much longer? Lydia's record is $2,800,802, while Jin Young is now at $2,618,631). And her scoring average is now below 69 and in the range of the best ever achieved on the LPGA. 68.81! Man oh man, that's insane. Not a good week for the Koreans, she was the only Sister in the top 19. But boy, she sure made it a memorable week for them. Hwaiting!!!
