Another tournament last week was the Under Armour® / Alison Lee Championship presented by Irvine Technology Corporation at The Oaks Club in Valencia, CA. The winner on the girls side was Lauren Kim of Surrey, BC who shot +4 for three rounds and won a three-way playoff.
Gimee is such a goofball: "Welcome to the 2nd round of my tournament." I want to hear Jack Nicklaus say that at The Memorial.

The translation has So Yeon wishing happy birthday to her friend and fellow Yonsei alum Bio Kim, last spotted on what was then still the Web.com Tour in 2018 and currently on the KPGA. His present world ranking is #475 thanks to one victory back in April, his first win anywhere since 2012 when he won in back to back weeks.Kevin

At heart, she is still a softball lunatic...flanked by her DNA advantage, mama (javelin) and daddy (shot put, discus).

Another big book came out this week to fix your game.

Furtney and Shepherd officially joined the Blue Devils last week. Duke's team in 2019-20 is so overloaded with talent, it's ridiculous...especially if Ana Belac plays the entire season...and if Hannah O. learns how to play golf again, that's a bonus. It doesn't stop there...NJ's Sophia Bae was at KJ Choi's tourney last week wearing a Duke cap...her private IG already has herself in the class of 2025.

Defending champ JY Shin was in Tokyo Monday for a presser on the 2019 LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup (Sept. 12-15) at Cherry Hills GC. The field will include NASA, Winbee and the SS Feng. All 48,000 advance tickets were sold out before the 2019 AIG Women's British Open. As for Shibuno Fever game day sales, they will use this week's Nitori Ladies as a practice run to address this.
July 2018 when nobody noticed.

The Great Ayako Okamoto, i never thought she received the recognition on the LPGA for the success she had, the similarities between Shibuno and Okamoto are striking, both were former softball players, both won the British Open, Okamoto in 1984, both the same height 5 ft 5 in (1.65 m) and Shibuno histeria in Japan currently just like Ayako faced in the 80's and 90's.
I recall reading a number of years ago where Kobayashi said she never felt welcomed by Okamoto and that she sensed an element of jealousy due to her being able to intergrate far more easily in America than Okamoto did, I guess it help that Kobayashi is fluent in English.

A Shibuno doesn’t come around very often. That’s Mary Lou Retton stuff.
