It's the height of annoying that Fassi, time and again, gets put into prime pairings with top players and tons of TV time when she has done nothing to deserve it (yes, ANWA is nothing, sorry Augusta). Then we get to watch her 'fashionably' hack her way around the course. Lee6 should be the rookie we are watching hack her way around the course (OK, this week it's more like hacking, although still better than Fassi). Why Lee and not Fassi? Because she's earrrrrned it.

HOW MANY legitimate Solheim players will pass PC by Sunday, only to receive zero coverage or hype in the process?
Amy Olson, a sharp, well spoken REAL future US mainstay, who's 14th in the standings, is now even with her at -6.
Marian Alex, who still has NEVER been on live TV is at -4.
Ally McDonald, 10th in the standings, is -3
Megan Khang, 8th in the standings is -4. She's NEVER been on TV or hyped either.
Annie Park, 17th in the standings, is -3.

Lexi throwing red meat to her fans by hating on anything in France is what the tour needs right now.

I wrote my earlier comment about Paula when she was T2 -9, one shot back of MHL. She's +7 since then and still on the course.
She's probably still a shoo-in for an Inkster pick.

Paula is a warrior and a Solheim point getter but she hasn't come remotely close to earning this in 2019. If US Solheim fans cared more about winning than feeling 10 years younger for a weekend they'd demand coverage of the real, new contenders who've earned consideration for a pick.

The GIC is all in behind Lexi. Wonder what Hans & Franz are thinking now. "Seven years into the controversial declaration making Evian the LPGA’s fifth major, this underscores the nature of that controversy, beyond its breaking golf’s tradition of four majors. It’s yet more concern about the nature of the course’s suitability as a meaningful major championship test." www.golfchannel.com/news/lexi-thompson-critical-evian-course-very-thankful-miss-cut

Mi Hyang, if Lynn or Pia offer you a nice refreshing Kool Aid in this hot weather, slowly back away and don't take your eyes off them. When the coast is clear, make a run for it! Don't look back!

I will get this over with and go to non whiners. Thompson is ranked number three World Rankings. Finished seventeen shots behind the leader. She blames it on bad bounces and not course management. The course is not set up for you to swing away and hope for the best.
A great Leaderboard with golfers that didn't depend on bounces. Just played the game the way it should be played.
Jeongeun Lee6 played like she played sometimes on the KLPGA. She can occasionally lose her focus. She will, I am sure bounce back the next tournament.
Jin Young Ko didn't have her "A" game but still in the hunt.
Right now until So Yeon elevate her game to where it should be. At least she is competing on the weekend. It gives her two more rounds during real time tournament play.
My second favorite Major, after the ANA.
edit: One more whinner, Paula Creamer blames the rain delay for her finish. I guess you forget how to play golf during the delay. Paula is playing better, but she is not there yet.

I didn't know that Pia Nilsson was still doing Vison 54. Lynn Marriot I thought was the only one still doing it. I got to watch one of their session with Ai Miyazato at Legacy Golf Resort. I, along with Lynn Marriot followed Ai third round in Phoenix. She shot minus nine that day, but lost to Stacy Lewis the final round.

Round 2 Here we have another instance where the Sisters were sort of so so (in the afternoon), then, after the broadcast was over, they kicked butt, and next thing you know are all over the leaderboard. Wha hoppen?? In the morning, it looked like Mi Hyang Lee had completely squandered her chance with that hideous 7th hole. Then, off camera, she goes birdie-birdie-eagle and just like that is in the lead. Sung Hyun did all her work in prime time and looks deadly right now. In the afternoon, frustrated that Lee 6 somehow missed the cut. Not sure what happened, but hopefully she can learn and produce a great British next week. Jin Young was all over the place; great one hole, crappy the next. But she's still right in this thing. Great day for Inky, too: 66, Amy 68, and Mirim 68. Hyo Joo was on fire, shooting 64 to move to 9 under, but my favorite Sister in position is Inbee. Her 2012 win here was possibly the greatest putting performance I have ever seen. Channel that, Queen Bee! Let's get that super slam! It looked for a brief moment that Creamer was going to be a thing, but she completely threw up on herself after the rain delay. Of course, Inkster will ignore that, but I wouldn't if I were her. There are some great Americans she should really consider for the team instead of Creamer. We'll see... Sisters hwaiting!!!!
