A field of 144 will play this one Aug 1-4 in Charley Hull's backyard, Woburn GC. The event website shows 129 confirmed names, including Hye Jin Choi, Maria Fassi, Mamiko Higa, Minami Katsu, Dayeon Lee, Hinako Shibuno, JY Shin, Ai Suzuki, Atthaya Thitikul, Momoko Ueda and Yuka Yasuda. Two qualifier stages (July 15 & 29) will help fill out the remaining 15 names.

From lpga.com -
The Marathon Classic presented by Dana is the final opportunity for LPGA players to earn a full exemption into the 2019 AIG Women’s British Open. After 72 holes, the top five LPGA Members that are not already exempt into the field will earn a spot into the season’s fifth major; however, they must have indicated to officials prior to the start of play that they would like to enter into the AIG Women’s British Open qualifier.
The July 15 pre-qualifier has 83 names, the most prominent being Cheyenne Woods. I don't know how many of these players will advance to the July 29 qualifier.

I can't find anything regarding Yealimi Noh qualifying for Women's British Open; is she lost in the shuffle?

Youngin Chun was one stroke away from stealing Uribe's spot. Sigh. But still a great week for her... I have mixed feeling about Youngin going to the British Open. On one hand I would have liked to see her get the experience. On the other hand I'm not so sure that she is ready. I don't think that she has ever played any of those type of courses. Maybe she can get into an LET event just for a little knowledge. The players from the KLPGA and JLPGA play courses similar to those every week. Whereas you need to keep the ball in the fairway and hit from uneven hilly lies. So they are used to playing tough courses, not just pitch and putt courses.

Yes, she probably wouldn't have made the cut. But a. it would have been a great learning experience and b. she's playing her best golf right now, so if she ever had a chance to make the cut at a Major, it's right now. She's 127th on the money list, so she needs a couple more good paychecks to keep status for 2020.

It was outdated info re Cheyenne Woods playing the pre-qualifier...she is in the LPGA team event this week. Meanwhile, 28 players advanced to the final qualifier on July 29.
Bravo to Ana Menendez for her ace at #8 ... 95 yards.

Trying to cross quote. I think T Joh could be a sneaky pick for the British ( ala Mo Martin )

Bravo to Ana Menendez for her ace at #8 ... 95 yards. It's more difficult than it sounds. You have to time the shot so that the windmill doesn't block the hole.

Hinako Shibuno, who went from #417 to #44 in four months on the Rolex rankings, departed Haneda Airport on Thursday and will have her first practice round at Woburn on Saturday.

The site above has the 36 threesomes that will be competing on Monday in the final qualifier...click 'Entry List' and then click 'Final Q'. HY Park dropped out. The final field has 132 names, which becomes 133 when you add in the European Ladies Amateur Champion, Alice Hewson. That would leave 11 qualifier spots up for grabs on Monday.
