The LPGA moves to the state of Minnesota for the playing of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Sung Hyun Park will be trying to defend this championship that she won last year in a playoff over Nasa Hataoka and So Yeon Ryu. Here is my preview and a whole lot more: www.tonyslpgareport.com/

I missed it if they mentioned Inbee’s major 3-peet on the USOpen broadcast.

I really enjoyed watching her press conference today. Good luck, Jin Young! My favorite out-of-the-box answer to a boilerplate question: INTERVIEWER: This is your second year at the KPMG PGA Championship. What do you think of this event? It's certainly one of the biggest you play all year. JIN YOUNG: The food is really amazing. There's like 6 kinds of desserts. So always happy!

Then there was this exchange... golfweek.com/2019/06/18/lpgas-jin-young-ko-is-having-some-interesting-dreams-about-brooks-koepka/On a day when LPGA stars filed in and out of the press room at the KPMG Women’s PGA, Ko delivered the line of the day. When asked what it is that she likes about Koepka and how he inspires her play, Ko said: “I met him in my dream, and then we had really great time.” The room erupted. She continued: “He always (has) like a poker face and then like stone.” Ko, 23, put her arms out wide and said, “I like big guy.”

By what possible criterion does Nicole Jeray have that would allow her to play in this major? There is no Monday qualifying here and she's not a sponsor's invite. Jeray's rookie year was 1994 - a "career", such as it is, that is longer than the lives of 7 of the top ten players on the Rolex Ranking.
You can't call it a career! You have to make money for that. In her 25 years, she has managed to accumulate a little over a quarter of a million dollars in earnings (would rank only no. 28 in this season's earnings). That's a little over $10k per season. Nobody in this country could live on that. You can count the number of her top tens on one finger. She hasn't had a top 20 in about 15 years.
At least she is in the very last group of the day. I will applaud her is she breaks 80 on either Thursday or Friday.
